The WBC Gotham wire cables are fantastic, they were out of the neutrik quiet disconnect version but amphenol hardware is a 9 out of 10. The low capacitance per foot is what you are paying for, and yes it does make a noticeable difference compared to the cheap stuff in the same length. Better wire = clearer sound. Also build quality is first rate…probably the highest quality of anything I have purchased on Amazon. I can’t speak to longevity yet, my guess is they will hold up well under heavy use. If you build pickups or guitars this is the type of cable you should be using for testing.

I've been through decades of gear, plus stages and studios. This is absolutely the best fair-priced instrument cable that I've ever used. On a cork-sniff, I could absolutely hear the improvement against my "other brand" cables. But, I also recorded the same melody, on the same guitar, on all 6' long cables, of the "other brand", WBC's Gotham/Neutrik and (this) WBC's Gotham/Amphenol. Both of the WBC cables provided superior clarity and visibly fuller audio waves in the DAW. But, the Gotham/Neutrik has noticably more sonic distortion, whereas this Gotham/Amphenol is crystal clear, clean and full. It's made to last with thick, sturdy, but flexible wiring and plugs that smoothly plugin, fully flush and extremely secure (with no wiggle). WBC's Gotham/Amphenol cable is now the only instrument cable that I intend to use.

As a part-time sound engineer, I deal with a lot of audio cables. Cheap cables are always a problem. WBC is a quality cable at a very affordable price. I can buy more expensive cables, but I choose WBC because of the quality components, quality build, and affordable price.

I think people who can justify purchasing an "audiophile" grade cable are generally victims of placebo effects and it must make them feel better. I will say this cable is better quality than most of the low cost cables on here. However when compared with my Monster instrument cable they sound exactly the same.

I bought this because I had several bass guitars that were buzzing. The shielding on the cord stopped all of that. A great price for a nice cord.

I’m liking this cable a lot. Clear highs and great connectors. Would love it even more if it came in a braided sheath.
