buy these if you need new grips, i don't think they can be beat
bought these with the range composite pedals and was not disappointed. The grips don't let your hands slip very much if at all and they feel. they match with the pedals well. if you need to replace the contact points on your bike the range composite pedals and loam grips are the way to go even if it costs 84$. it takes 2 screws to install and after i installed them i tried my hardest to twist them but could not. this was my first experience with PNW and i can't say i will ever go to another brand for my contact points again they make install clean and easy and looks impeccable all and all i would say both the grips and pedals are worth every penny

reduces fatigue and helps with carpal tunnel pain when riding
I ordered the XL version of the grips, and I'm glad I did. The factory grips on my Giant Trance Advanced were very thin, and most of the texture had worn off, requiring a replacement. I ready dozens of articles and reviews of various grips on the market, and decided to go with the Loams. I often find myself having to have out my hands on rides, and almost always end up having a tingling and numbness for hours after a ride. Some research led me to going with a fatter grip than the stock Giant Lock-ons. Once installed, I could immediately feel a difference. The grip felt a little fatter, but not so much that it seemed unusual. The rubber compound offers a lot of purchase on the bars, and the texture is pleasant when riding without gloves. I do ride with gloves nearly all the time, and they also grip extremely well when wearing them. About an hour into a ride, I'm usually feeling the need to shake my hands out to relieve some pain. With the new grips installed, I wasn't feeling that anywhere near as soon. I do have issues with carpal tunnel syndrome, and I believe the fatter grip helped prevent that from being aggravated as quickly. I would like to see the grip include protective end caps, since I sometimes load the bit in the bed of my truck, and occasionally do wreck.I haven't had the grips installed long enough to observe any damage from doing so yet, and maybe it will not be an issue at all. Something I did notice is the grips do not slide on as far as the factory grips, so there was more of a gap between the grip and levers. Overall, it widened the bars by around 3/4 of an inch compared to the original setup. If I notice any trouble getting used to the position f the levers, I'll move them closer to the grips, or if I really like the grips and plan on replacing them with the same thing in the future, I may shorten the bars a bit to tighten things up. So far, it's not enough of a difference to change the way the bike handles on the trails. Overall, I'm very happy to have chosen these grips. They feel great, look good, and come at a reasonable price point. With two sizes and many colors to choose from, it's not hard to find a combination to suit most people's needs. They seem to make my ride less troublesome to my hands.

A very easy replacement for a premium fit and feel
I'm very pleased with these grips. I replaced the stock grips on my Aventon Aventure M with the XL version and noticed the improvement immediately. They significantly reduced hand fatigue and should help a lot with hand cramping on longer rides. The grips feel soft, tacky, and very comfortable without feeling mushy. I also appreciate the wide range of color options — there’s something for everyone. My only minor complaint is that the end caps are not removable for bar-end accessories or mirrors. I ended up carefully drilling them out for my mirror setup, and they now look and function perfectly. The lock-on system is solid and installation was quick and easy. Overall, these grips offer a very premium feel at a great price and are an excellent upgrade over stock grips. Highly recommended.

Good grips, but redo your bar rotation when swapping!
Picked these up because I wanted to try some thicker grips on my XC hardtail. Initial impressions were not good as my hands cramped up within the first couple miles - never had that happen before! Was ready to toss them but decided to reset my handlebar and give them a second chance in case it was just a setup issue; turns out it was, haven't had any issues since rotating the bar to where it felt good with these installed. Otherwise no issues, lots of grip and my hands seem to be less tense while riding.

made the right choice
I have large to extra large hands, and I knew I needed something better than what came with my Santa Cruz. Grips are like shoes there are so many, but I am glad I picked PNW. Not only did they fit my hands better, but the material is perfect for antivibration and if there's moisture – both are nullified with these grips. I will choose them again for my other bikes.

Great feeling grips
Great color and very comfortable pattern/grip. Lock-on bolts felt a little soft/easy-to-strip during install.

Missing a bolt
Was waiting for these to come only to be disappointed that one of the black bolts were missing. Luckily my oury grips had compatible bolts so I swapped it over.
