So I absolutely love the flavor of this smoked salt. It's my go to in every thing, especially salt aging steaks (if you know, you know). Only problem is the dang holes in the lid are so tiny they get all clogged up to the point that nothing even comes out...woooof

The alderwood is understated (which I generally find it should be in most fish dishes), but it also means this isn't going to be a smoke accent, but rather an essence or hint. I also had some success with this as a marinade additive for salmon as I've been experimenting with reducing my reliance on soy sauce.
