Handyman put this together with a bit of help from me. Directions were clear, things all fit together without trouble, it seems very sturdy and durable (I chose to anchor it with short iron stakes). It’s great for my Jeep to have shade on these high temp days. Only tiny glitch was one of the grommets had come apart & I can easily replace that. We get little snow here, but get ice on the windshield, so the shelter will be great for that. Prompt delivery.

I bought one of these several years ago with no side walls. It was amazingly strong. The wind didn't affect it much because I positioned it near buildings to protect it from the wind. I live in Wisconsin where we get snow, sometimes a lot. When it was new the snow slid off. After a storm this winter that let loose 10" of snow, it stuck to the roof and the weight collapsed it. It was no real surprise and was my own fault for not checking on it and relieving it from the weight. I use a push broom and just push up from the inside. Nothing but a wooden structure is meant for that much weight. I purchased this one with side walls (I only plan on using 2), mostly for privacy and hope it's still protected enough to not turn into a sail. The first was very well built and served its purpose as long as it could so I'm giving this brand another go at it. I'll post an update if there is anything different.

Great carport, (I have 3) and does great in all kinds of weather plus winds while bolted to 6x6’s I did have some legs buckle on some pretty severe storms and I contacted customer service about replacement parts. Milka was amazing and responded to me the next day and quickly shipped out what I needed. I can’t say enough good things about this company. Thanks so much.

2/25/2026: I ordered this end of October 2025 and set it up in November in my driveway and actually bolted it to the pavement and strapped it to the fence. I am doing construction in my house and wanted somewhere to receive deliveries so they wouldn’t be in the way. This is in my backyard in front of my detached garage, next to my fence. It completely collapsed with the wind and snapped the frame. This was supposed to be heavy duty and barely made it 3 months. I absolutely cannot recommend this.

It's well made. I did have a side panel that had an inner layer (material is made up of three layers.) tearing and running the length of the port. They replaced it very quickly though. They only downfall is that the corners don't have sufficient material to protect from wind and rain.

Structural parts are well built and fit properly. Fabric parts fit properly. Houses a full-size camper van. Instructions are all graphical and you’ll probably do some steps twice. I used concrete pier blocks, ($7 each at HD) not the flimsy tent anchors supplied. (Other reviewers have mentioned these). I drilled concrete anchor bolts through base pieces all the way through to cement — highly recommended. At 10’x20’, this tent carport catches a lot of wind. Overall good value.

It worked fine until we experienced lots of rain and wind. We had consistent 30mph winds with 40mph gusts. Most of the poles snapped and tore through the canopy.
