This was a Christmas gift for my husband and he really likes it. It's so much better than a typical belt because as his body fluctuates in size due to water retention, eating and so on, he can adjust the belt to a comfortable fit. No more trying to find the perfect belt hole. He uses his old belt for doing things around the house, and the ratchet belt when he needs to dress up a bit. I'll most likely get him another one.

I've had this brand belt for over a year now and love it ! It has held up very well, with no discernable degradation. Like it so much I just purchased another. My only issue with my recent order was the sizing. I wear a size 34 pant, so I ordered the 32-36 size. This belt was too tight (short). I returned it and re-ordered in the 36-40 waist size. Just received it and tried it on. Perfect ! So, I recommend buying a size a bit larger than what your pant size is. Remember, you can always trim it if it's too long for you.

Great style, but you should learn the unbuckling mechanism before wearing it. It's a "pull outward" lever thing. You should get the hang of it before you really have to use the washroom or something.
