Greenwood Essential Pure Labdanum Essential Oil (Cistus ladaniferus) with Glass Dropper Steam Distilled Natural Therapeutic Grade 10ml (0.33 oz)

Today I had bad luck with my purchase. I believe that the product is of excellent quality, but it is in a form that is difficult to use. It is so thick, thicker than syrup. Say true, it is like asphalt, after little bit of summer sun. In the instructions that the seller gives you just after purchase and in the box it is written that the product needs to be heated. But first you have to remove the plug that is glued there like with the best glue. It took me forever to peel it off. Finally I removed the plug, heated the product and .... luckily I had jojoba oil at home to slightly mix it with, at least to a usable state. So those of you who don't have jojoba or other cosmetic oil at home, good luck. So definitely something else, but never labdanum again.

Was hesitant to buy it first, but actually I’ve grown to love it. I will say that it definitely should be diluted for ease of use and pour ability. Also should be strained and refined as there is resin and other minerals in this. Works well with vanilla, Vetiver and sandalwood

Very nice fragrance, it's hard to describe unless you have smelled it. It's musky and earthy and different. I like to use it in my oil blends. A few nice combos are with lemon, patchouli, vetevir, frsnkensense... It's a base note that is long lasting. I read that it is used in place of the traditional ' musk's that comes from whales. It is quite thick and unruly ( lol) I end up just pouring a little out and not use the dropper. It flows more like honey than 'oil'.
