The item arrived in good quality. Everything was done well.

This is a good starting vice and work table stand. It is in need of a berrer jaw and should come with a bobbim rest. The tools that are supplied work just fine, good for a new fly tyer.

I must say for the price you get a lot of pieces that would cost you a lot more if you would bought them separate.As a starter kit you get a lot to play with and practice before you get the good stuff.I'm sure if you want you can start buying the best right away but I'm sure you'll break the bank.Yes you get what you pay for but you also learn,Great gift for a beginner fisherman and if you're kids love to fly fish they would love this project during the winter. I bought this kit to dress a treble hook for surf casting poppers , micky's , castmasters and plugs . The trouble hook you see in the vice is a 2/0 4X vmc and it holds very nice and tight . Device can be adjusted to hold the tiniest hook as well highly recommend for your kids and yourself. Enjoy the outdoors the rewards are waiting for you go out and get yours.

I purchased this set after breaking my ankle thought it would be a good time to start tying my own flies. The first set came and was completely broken. The bottom piece that holds in the draw in was apart. I sent it back with no issues and amazon sent another out right away. Same issue with the second one. It's all because of the thin box that they ship it in. They need to put it in a lager box to protect it. I ended up fixing the second one with wood glue and small tac nails. I realize this is made in China and didn't have any thoughts it would be high quality. The tools work well, and I do like the vise. Has worked fine for me as a beginner.

Not worth the money. Buy the stuff separate, you'll get better equipment cheaper.
