I was pleasantly surprised to find that a glass optical lens is incorporated into the snoot to help focus the light into a nice spot. I thought at this price point it would only be a funnel. I like that there is an attachment point for a wire or cable to prevent the snoot from loose. It also will thread into the head of the Orcatorch 710/710V. I will be using it as a focus light / snoot on my dive rig.

This screws on to the Orcatorch 530V and stays put. Good add-on for using the underwater flashlight for macro shots. I was rather surprised, however, by how close you have to get to the subject (just a few inches) for the light to put out a suitable beam, which can be described best as an oval, not a circle, which is why I didn't give this 5 stars. Nonetheless, this is a good purchase for the price.

The snoot installed super easy and secure just screws onto the D530v. It is a wet snoot so make sure to burp it. It has 2 different options for the size of the beam, by just screwing on an additional focus piece. The snoot does take some practice to get the results you want. This set up with light and snoot is a fraction of the cost of others I have looked at would highly recommend for anyone wanting to try one out

This attachment only works with the d530v but it’s a really nice tool for getting those artistic snoot shots. It screws right on the front of the light head so it doesn’t fall off. The description doesn’t say it but it actually has two steps, you can pop off the ultra tiny front end which is maybe 3-5° of light and then you get a medium setting which is maybe 15° of light.

Great snoot to go out and record some of that macro life!

I have had multiple issues with the snoot staying screwed on....despite trying different versions of the same orcatorch flashlight. I think the main reason is the lack of any o-ring for the snoot to grip on. Either way, I would not buy again

lo snoot si presenta molto bene, tutto in alluminio e con un pratico anello in gomma dove si puo aggiungere un laccetto per non perderlo. Purtoppo il fascio luminoso con lo snoot montato ha un'impronta quadrata e funziopna solo con la luce principale , il rosso e l'UV non sono utilizzabili.

weefineのスヌート部の1/10の値段ですが、お得感はなく、値段相応です。まず、安い集光レンズが一枚なのでしっかり集光できません。せっかくのスヌートなのに、ぼやけた光しか出ません。それからライトとの接点がすぐに塩噛みして外れないです。水中で落としても問題ないよう紐をつける穴が開いているのは評価できますが、肝心のスヌートはかなり不満です。この5倍の値段でも良いので、もっとちゃんとしたスヌートを作ってほしい。

本体についていたのに、無駄に買ってしまいましたが、予備と言うことにします。 タイトル通り、集光した光は四角いです。個人的には丸が良かったなぁ。 その点だけマイナスしました。
