Just Me and My Little Brother (Little Critter) (Pictureback)

I loved this series when I was a kid. My brother recently had his second child and I gifted several books to his first-born at the baby shower to make him feel included and to get him excited about being a big brother. The Little Critter books are just as cute as I remember, and I had this exact book as a child when MY little brother (my nephew’s dad!) was a baby. This is a great gift for a new sibling, whether he is excited or nervous or both about the new arrival.

When I was pregnant with my second boy, I looked for waaaaay too long at brother books. I was wildly unimpressed with the majority. I wanted something with togetherness but not sickeningly sweet. Something with humor but not inappropriate or gross. And definitely something relatable with activities that we actually do. I had always loved Little Critter (the older ones anyway) and was surprised to see that I had missed this! This book totally made me feel feelings and I still adore it. My kids still want to read it regularly years later. I've gotten it for everyone I know adding another boy to their family. It's such a hit!

Great present for my nephew loves reading it

I bought this book for my 21 month old to help him prepare for his baby brother. Although he is still too young to fully comprehend it, he does enjoy hearing me read it and points to the different pictures. I grew up reading Mercer Mayer and I love that I’m able to do it with my kids now. This book is kept simple enough for the younger kids but to also point out lots of fun for the older kids to look forward to.

I bought this book for my 6 yr old Grandson who just became a big brother to a baby boy. He helps out but becomes bored at times. This adorable book illustrated all the fun he will have in a few months & years as his brother grows and understands his world bit better. My grandson opened it. As soon as he got it and read it to his baby brother. He loved it

Very impressed with this book. Illustrations are lovely and the storyline cute.

Since the product description mentioned that the book was meant for 3-7 year olds, I ordered this for my 6 year old. Unfortunately the level is very basic and the book is actually meant for 3-5 year olds.

This book was a gift to my toddler when we brought home his little brother. He was highly engaged. I do wish though with him being 2 at the time that I should have got a board book style versus paperback. All in all though a very good read.

Collection superbe dans laquelle chaque sujet est abordé avec tendresse et humour. Format superbement adapté aux petites mains ce qui permet de les oublier dans le lit. Dessins remplis de petits détails sympas, on cherche à chaque page les 2 compagnons préférés de Critter : la souris et l'araignée. Mon petit fils et moi sommes totalement conquis. Il s'est bien identifié, lui qui deviendra dans 15 jours le GRAND frère . Une nouvelle aventure qui commence

I bought this book for my great nephews who are six, three and eighteen months old to help them feel good about each other. They are lovely boys but squabble over toys etc and are having to learn patience and understanding at an early age. Great little book for this.
