Can this be used as a scarf or neck cover?

No. It's not a scarf. It covers the head down to the neck. I have used it while hunting and it is too thin if the weather is cold - below 45 degrees for me.

Does this go below your neck into your shirt or jacket?

I cannot really remember on that I bought it for son and he loves it. I think just a bit under the neck but not enough to cover the chest for warmth.

Perfect for long rides.

The media could not be loaded. I wear this under my helmet to protect my make up from getting ruined (lol) it does the trick! Also surprisingly, it’s doesn't get hot or sweaty AT ALL. Good product overall!
