Beautiful. Thick sturdy board placemats with rich coloring and perfect period scenes. My last set of this type of placemats lasted me 40 years and is still being used so imagine how long these will last! We even use these on our laps for a casual meal in front of the tv. You’ll love these.

I received my first set of 4 Pimpernel placemats 30 years ago, as a young bride. I immediately was impressed with the quality and ordered an additional 8, because I anticipated family and friend dinners of 12 for the years to come. My old mats are still lovely, but I fell in love with the TallyHo theme and just ordered this new set of 12. These pieces go with everything, are elegant, tasteful, and you’ll never want to use another placemat again. We also use them every day! Loved these. Well made and nice looking. Got some several years ago and needed more for a complete table setting. Was very happy I could still find them

Beautiful, but missing the coasters.
While the product is advertised as four placemats with 4 coasters, the package arrived with only the placemats. We notified the seller in mid-November, but as of the end of December, we still have not heard back from them. This was a replacement/additional set for the exact same product we purchased 8-10 years ago. The first set has held up very well during all those years and still look great and are easy to clean.
