Refrigerator Door Lock Kit - NO PADLOCK (Black)

We've had an issue twice now where our freezer didn't get closed all the way, ice developed on the deicer part (it is a frost free fridge but only when it is working) so i said enough is enough - lets get a lock for this! (that is what my friends recommended). These are very good quality, stick really well, not flimsy at all. We don't have a padlock - we just stick a screwdriver thru the holes and it sits on top. Works well! So far we haven't had any issues and this works so far. Another friend told me they got this one with a padlock, and they just tie a string to the key and attach it to one of the rings, so the key is always there, so that it doesn't get "lost". Or you could velcro the key to the top of the fridge if you didn't want to lose it.

amazingly strong. Works as intended. Ordering another one now. Had to lock the freezer due to my father with dementia taking out fresh fruit, eating a piece and then putting it in the freezer destroying them. Now we find we need one for the refrigerator side, as he stands there all day with the doors open even right after eating a meal, just looking. When I ask him what he wants, he says, nothing, but continues to go into the refrigerator ever 10 minutes or so. He has Vascular Dementia, similar to Alzheimer's, only the patient lives much longer with this type of dementia. I dislike doing this, but I thank the manufacturer for making a fine product.

The product works extremely well and definitely sticks to the refrigerator well. They are about as unobtrusive as an item like this can be. I knocked off one star simply because of the price. To secure a household of refrigerators and freezers may run you over $100, especially by the time you buy locks.

I bought this product because of the review that it will hamper 17 year old autistic boys from getting into things that they shouldn't get into. It did not initially stop a cunning 4 year old with a prying tool from getting into the refrigerator. I installed it using the included scrub pad and alcohol rub to clean the mounting surface, and allowing a full day to cure. I still recommend the product, after a change of position, the device is working better. If she opens it again, I will use a stronger adhesive.

My co-worker and I bought two of these (one for the fridge part and one for the freezer) to use on a medium sized fridge at work. Super sticky and very easy to apply but even if you mess up a bit don't worry because the little loopy arms (that's a technical term) are flexible and forgiving and you'll still be able to get a lock through them. In conclusion, these door locks rock and give me peace of mind knowing that others are not drinking my juice!

Great product idea and love how it works. I used this for my own personal fridge to keep the roommates from stealing my craft beers. The problem is the adhesive tape that is on the back is really sucks. It will hold for a month or two, but if you use a lock that is worthy and not a small suitcase lock, it will be too heavy and eventually fall off. You could probably use something like Gorilla Glue Epoxy to make it more permanent, but I will be looking elsewhere.

Arrived on time! Easy installation! (A female installed it no problem) Holds very well & keeps my children out of my mini fridge and all my soda safe and sound! This is actually my 4th purchase of these locks (on old fridge & deep freezer) and have never had a defective set or a set fail early on me.

This is a really good thing to have. We lost some food recently because our freezer door comes open easily. This keeps it closed because it has a place for a lock, but you don't even need that, just a long nail or screwdriver will work to keep it shut. We can't afford to lose food and money, I'm so glad I found these. We thought we were going to have to give the freezer to Goodwill.
