Review: The Dream Interpretation Dictionary; Symbols, Signs and Meanings is my newest bedside BEST book - Ever since I was a little girl I was fascinated by dreams and always wondered if they meant something. This interest has never left me and now as a grown up, I continue look for answers I know are already inside me. I was so impressed that the next day I ordered his book Dreams 1-2-3 as well his latest book: The Dream Interpretation Dictionary; Symbols, Signs and Meanings... These books are an awesome study guild. It is written as something simple and beautiful and that is why this helps people to be able to understand their dreams with the ease of a gentle beginnings. Before one can learn to walk, one must crawl. The easy instructions to remembering dreams worked for me like a charm. In few days I was able to remember my dreams and not just the actions or the feelings of it but also tiny details that I had never took seriously before and paid no attention to them. Shapes and colors, numbers and patterns, all the little clues became more interesting and clear in my dreams. I visited his blog on Reddit.com and posted one of my recurring dreams on the board. In no time Mr. DeBord replied and offered an interpretation that made the repetition clear to me. I had found him on Facebook as well and he accepted me as friend. He said he does not usually accept such invitations from strangers, but since I've studied tarot he would take the chance, so I felt honored in some way. We have great conversations online and he has helped me to interpret my other old recurring dreams. I keep dreaming with more clarity and depth and this has invigorated me to remember more and more. One of my latest dreams felt like an alert for a potential health issue concerned about my husbandโs blood-pressure and I collaborated my suspicions with Mr. DeBord. It seems he has taught me well and I was right about the interpretation. He said; โYeah, your interpretation is right on. You're learning!โ A couple of days ago a friend told me that he has recurring dreams about flying. I told him that he wants to go somewhere, and he should be confident about doing just that. Actually he is โreadyโ to retire but not so confident about it at this time. He was smiling at me gently when I told him something that he already knew. The very emotion behind that smile meant he too knew this. It is so exciting to be working with my โnewlyโ found, old passion. I am compelled to, with no reservations, recommend The Dream Interpretation Dictionary; Symbols, Signs and Meanings by J.M. DeBord to anyone who is looking for self-improvement, answers or just wanting to understand more about their mind and heart. You may even realize the potential you that might not have known was in you. The Dream Interpretation Dictionary; Symbols, Signs and Meanings is my newest bedside Bible. Thank you so much for providing such an awesome book once again. I will treasure it rest of my life. Review: Dream Teller - If youโve ever woken up from the same dream for the third time and thought, โokayโฆ what are you trying to tell me?โโthis book leans right into that feeling and doesnโt let go. The Dream Interpretation Dictionary: Symbols, Signs, and Meanings is less about giving you one neat answer and more about handing you the tools to figure your dreams out for yourself. It treats dreams like layered puzzles rather than fortune-cookie messagesโand honestly, thatโs where it stands out. The book digs into those big, universal questionsโwhy nightmares happen, why certain people keep showing up, whether dreams can act as warningsโand it does so without drifting into vague, mystical fluff. Instead, it focuses on context. A dream about falling isnโt just โloss of controlโโit depends on where youโre falling, how you feel, whatโs happening in your life. That ideaโyour personal emotional landscape shaping the meaningโis the backbone of the entire book. Whatโs especially compelling is the sheer range. From โabandonmentโ to โzoo,โ it covers thousands of symbols, including the classics: being chased, paralysis, money, sex, running, and more. But instead of boxing those into rigid definitions, it offers possibilities, patterns, and questions to ask yourself. Itโs less like a dictionary and more like a conversation with your subconscious. The sections on nightmares are particularly strong. Rather than framing them as random or purely negative, the book treats them as signalsโintense ones, sureโbut often tied to unresolved stress, fear, or internal conflict. It doesnโt promise you can completely โstopโ nightmares, but it does suggest that understanding them can reduce their power, which feels grounded and realistic. And then thereโs the question everyone wonders about: why do certain people show up in dreams? The bookโs take is refreshingly nuancedโsometimes itโs about the person, sometimes itโs about what they represent. That distinction alone can shift how you see your dreams entirely. Where this book really succeeds is in respectโit respects the intelligence of dreams and the intelligence of the reader. It doesnโt talk down to you or pretend thereโs a one-size-fits-all answer. Instead, it invites you to notice patterns, question assumptions, and piece together meaning in a way that actually sticks. If thereโs a drawback, itโs that this isnโt a quick, flip-to-a-page-and-be-done kind of guide. It asks you to engage, reflect, and sometimes sit with uncertainty. But if youโre willing to do that, it becomes more than a referenceโit becomes a tool for self-awareness. Bottom line: This is a thoughtful, in-depth guide for anyone curious about whatโs going on beneath the surface of their dreams. Not a magic decoderโbut a surprisingly powerful map.

Great Dream book!
I got this book for mom mom for her birthday this year. Since I was a little girl I always have the memory of my mom ALWAYS having her dream book in her hands and open reading about every dream she had. As time went on the book got the front cover ripped, tattered, old, used, ect. To where after a while I noticed it had gone missing from my mom's hands. She seemed different, lost about her dreams, and wondering if they can be meaning something that she would normally be picking up her book for that information. Well now that I'm an adult I still haven't seen her with a new dream book (she's always busy working or taking care of my young sister and has little time for herself) so I decided to get her a new updated one this year! I looked through the book to make sure it's not just like a dictionary, which it is not it is written very well with lots of information about LOTS of different things you might dream about! *P.S. I noticed Noone really posted any examples of what you find IN the book so I took a few pics of that to because some dream books are just basically dictionaries and I didn't want that so I tried to see if anyone posted of what was in the book to have a good idea but there were none. So here you go!*

Dream interpation
Acts more like a college course very boring and limited information. My mother's book from the 50's was written so you learned. It even told people how to read tea leaves. I Do Not recommend this book

FANTASTIC BOOK
AT LAST I've finally found the book that accurately describes my dreams and meanings , I've bought so many dream dictionaries that I was becoming really fed up , one actually kept repeating the same thing over and over again , this book is FABULOUS, I have spent all day since receiving looking up all my dreams , the book describes everything and gives reasons why we have certain dreams , also the dreams to take notice of , good long descriptions of dreams . The author of this book definitely knows what he is talking about , at last I'm understanding more of my dreams . BUY this book , you Will not regret it , also a very decent size unlike others I have purchased โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Great reading

Great book, but not the delivery time.
The book is fine, but the waiting game is seriously something else, coming on two months would leave one thinking this was coming from China. The book is all good if one is prepared for the long wait, but that is down to the purchaser.
