The only thing good about this order was the shipping. I did receive it quickly. But the blankets were disgusting! Colors were dull, not vibrant like the pictures. The fabrics look old, used & dirty. I could see spots & stains all over the lighter fabrics, some looking like blood stains. See the pics. And beware! The cost to return them is enormous. Why take the chance?

I LOVE these blankets!!! They are exactly as they should be. Very light weight, lots of funky patches, the ends in this batch are nicely but simply finished, and so many beautiful colors!! It seems that they have addressed the earlier complaints some had about the quality. They smelled slightly like boxes, or glue? But I washed them on warm with Mrs. Meyers laundry soap and they came out soft and clean. Oh my gosh, do it. Just do it. You can use these for ANYTHING. Curtains, reading blankets, summer bed blankets, table cloth, picnic blankets (which is super trendy right now due to social distancing and everything being closed), baby play blankets, make them into pillow cases, etc.I am beyond happy. I knew it was gonna be a mixed bag of surprises but I had no idea they would be this lovely.

They are truly authentic. I love every single one. However, they are sewn together only by the long stitch quilting. That's not very secure, particularly as regards machine washing the quilts, so I used a sewing machine to make a clean rolled hem along all four sides.Then I washed them, as they were quite dirty. Once sewn, I washed them in cold water, gentle cycle, with Tide, ammonia and two Color Grabbers. During the first wash I gave them a half hour soaking. They still needed to be washed twice. They eventually came out of the washer looking brighter and more beautiful. I tumble dried the quilts low, and if there was any shrinkage, it was minimal. There's some work involved, true, but they're beautiful and worth it.

I use beautiful Kantha quilts in my one of a kind wearable art clothing. I’ve been buying these for years. That said, this order was to be used for Covid 19 face masks. The inside layer of each of these quilts is of an inferior material, not cotton. It leaves a lot of ugly shreds when cut. The quilts are sewn with big, loose stitches and the rows are more than an inch apart, where most of these type of quilts have even, tight stitching with rows about 1/4 inch apart. These are inferior in every way! I would not recommend ordering from this company. I didn’t realize that the content if the inner layer was of poor material until I cut into the quilt so I can’t return them. Creating these masks is taking twice the time in order to trim or hide the shredded layer.

This is my second order from this seller & i am soooooo happy with my kanthas!!! This seller is by far the best source i have found. I will never again order from anyone else. Lots of color variations & no large holes or stains. Do not hesitate to purchase these. They are fabulous.

Received my 3 rd order today! These are incredible gifts, furniture covers or funky addition to a Bohemin style room or house. They are definitely thinner than the thick ones at the yoga studio but the are cool.As for the chemical smell, get a large Rubbermaid container, add all blankets, vinegar & baking soda filled with cold water. I put container in the bathtub OVERNIGHT. This will disinfect, pull most of the smell out & seal color in so it won’t run in washes. Then u can rinse BLANKETS & soak them in same container/cold water with liquid fabric softener OVERNIGHT. Then they will be ready to run through cold wash with detergent & dry on delicate & airdry.I promised it’s SOOOO worth it.And FYI, the whole point of these blankets are to be patched fabrics, stringy ends & sometimes stained, lightly sewn. Spray water with drops of lavender on them to enhance zen feeling.

Delivery was almost a week late and I was unsuccessful on getting a response from the company for a tracking number. As I wasn't in any real hurry to get them it was a minor annoyance. Packaged well and I didn't notice any strong odors like other reviewers noted. They smelled a bit musty, but it was vintage fabric packed in plastic and shipped in winter months so it was to be expected.One of the blankets had a few small holes in the top layer, which isn't unusual for kantha blankets and the color peeking through is very pretty so that's a non issue for me. Ends were unfinished, as expected, also a non issue. My original plan was to make cushion covers but these are so pretty I may have a hard time cutting them up. I ordered the lot of 5 and got a nice selection of colors and patterns. Overall I'm very pleased and would order again.

I know these are a grab bag and you're taking a chance but mine paid off big time. To begin with, my order arrived five days from placing it!! When it came I felt like I was opening a present because I had no idea what I was getting. When I saw how lovely the first quilt was I was delighted. As I removed each one from the box I just became more ecstatic. Every single one is beautiful on both sides. Only one has loose threads. A couple have a patch or a mend but, in my opinion, this just adds to the charm. I bought these to use as throws in the summer and they will be perfect for that. I have attached pictures of the throws showing the patterns on both sides. This is after having washed and dried them.

Arrived really quickly (to UK), well packaged and great selection of colours! (mostly pinks and oranges but that is exactly what I hoped for). A little musty so will need a wash before using (shouldn’t be a problem as they are lightweight) but overall really happy! Would make great gifts

The colours for fabulous. Lots of red pink green orange yellow. I read some comments that the fabric is thin and the sewing was far apart. But I did not see that In the throes that I received. I have bought blankets like these from other sellers and I find that these ones are just as well made. They do have a slightly funky musty smell but I have hung them out on the line in - 25 Celsius weather and I will put them in a cold water wash with detergent and let them soak for half a day and I'm sure that the smell will be fine as other people say the smell comes out. It is not a strong smell so even if there is a bit of odour left from the first wash I am sure it will come out in future washes. I would definitely order these again.

I teli sono molto belli, colorati e stoffa di qualità. Le fantasie sono diverse in entrambi i lati in quanto la stoffa è cucita doppia. Purtroppo ho avuto problemi nella consegna in quanto il pacco è arrivato dopo un mese dall'ordine, ma l'errore è stato dal parte del magazzino di spedizione in Germania. Anche lì non sempre sono efficienti

Shipping was super fast!They smell really awful and I’ve already washed them twice and they still really smell and now my washer smells...These are very thin, like a bed sheet; not to be called “quilts”.The threads are not finished on the edges of the sheet, it looks like fringe. I have a few kantha quilts and none of them have ever looked like this.Very disappointed.
