Great Mat! This 5 x 5 square version allows for full driver swing from any of the 4 Mat Holes
I also purchased the 5 x 5 Octagon Version from Dura-Pro and while that is also a great mat, the octagon shape is less surface area than this square 5 x 5 version and on the octagon version I feel like the outside of my right heel is hanging of the mat with driver and it is mentally distracting. Plus, with driver on the octagon version you have to "turn" the mat in relation to the target line to have any of your right foot on the mat and that is also mentally distracting. Both the octagon and this square 5 x 5 are IMO exceptional quality. On the square version though it is large enough that I even have room for a practice swing with driver (even with a ball on the tee) with both feet still sitting well within the mat's boundaries. With other mats I've tried I would get the annoying green markings on the sole of the irons (would easily wash off, but still annoying and disappointing). No mat markings on any club whatsoever with this mat. Also, other mats would come packaged folded in half with claims that the hump in the middle when unfolder would go away over time. It didn't. This matt comes packaged rolled (not too tightly either) and lays perfectly flat with no hump shortly after unrolling it. I've had the octagon version for well over a year which has held up very well and I'm sure this 5 x 5 square version will too. One tip I can offer is to buy separate sets of rubber tees. I bought both the white rubber tee set from Champkey and the black rubber set from Finger Ten. Those sets come in slightly different sizes, and I disregarded roughly half from each set. The combination of rubber tees I'm left with I keep in a bag, and I have the perfect tee height for every club (even short irons for when I want the ball just barely off the ground). This setup makes the mat very enjoyable, and I know there will never be any damage to my clubs. I highly recommend this mat!

Well worth the money spent for 5x5!
So far, pretty durable. Edges shave off material a little. Probably from being cut and the residual edges are the “weak” areas. No marks left on clubs after hitting. Perfect thickness. I can really dig in to the mat vs the club bouncing right back up. Best money spent. Wish the holes were offset from center for the tee positions. But easy fix with a drill if needed. 5x5 is the way to go. Great little tray and tees. The tee “I needed” is in between the sizes given. But eh, personal preference. Not their fault. Definitely would recommend

Good mat but…
I’ve had this mat for 2 months and have hit thousands of shots on it with absolutely no signs of wear. It laid flat right out of the box. It leaves no residue on the bottom of your clubs. I have the 5’x5’ and it does move a little on the floor more so with driver than irons. It’s not forgiving with fat shots at all and I feel the results in my wrist and hands. It has 4 holes for tees, I think it should have more to spread the hitting areas around. In general a very good mat but I could use a little more forgiveness.

Awesome.
Great mat for golf practice. Good quality, great padding and thick foam. If you like to practice at home and are on the fence about this mat just pull the trigger, you wont be dissapointed.

Good for the money.
It’s a little thin for iron shots directly off the surface. Well made, seems durable.
