Great for sunburn prevention in summer
I purchased this to use and an all day outdoor sporting event, a multi day event in the summer in Florida. I wanted some sun protection that was more cool to use than having to wear a big hat. I was able to stand out in the direct sun, but have shade under me. It covered my whole body. It is very easy and fast to open and close. This function really well. I had no problems with this. It was durable and worked for me. I also love the low cost. I’m not a hat person, they make me feel hotter. I love how small this is and I love the case. I was able to clip this case onto my travel purse so that it hung from the purse and was easy to access when I needed it. I like that it is so small and lightweight compact that it is does not take up a lot of room to carry around or to take with you for airplane travel.

Best compact umbrella!
I absolutely love this little umbrella. It’s so cute and compact. So easy to take anywhere and has good coverage! It’s easy to fold back up and put back in the case. And it can be used for rain and shade against the sun. It’s my new favorite item this spring!

Compact and versatile
This is a very compact umbrella that can easily fit into my crossbody and is perfect for travel. It’s very well made. I appreciate that it works both for rain and shade.

Compact and Lightweight for Travel
The umbrella is compact, lightweight and perfect for traveling. My only negative comment is that it doesn’t have an automatic open button. Then it would be perfect. It’s a bit difficult to push up to latch.

Perfect Travel Umbrella and So Compact
I got this umbrella for an upcoming study abroad trip to the UK, and it is exactly what I was looking for. It is very small and compact when folded, making it easy to carry in a bag, but when opened, it provides great coverage. It feels like the perfect balance between portability and functionality, especially for traveling somewhere like England, where rain is common. Pros: • Very compact and travel friendly • Expands to a good size for coverage • Easy to carry in a bag or purse • Great for frequent rain Overall: This is a great option if you need a reliable and compact umbrella for travel or everyday use. I would definitely recommend it.

Tiny and mighty
This umbrella has pros and cons. The opening and closing mechanism was a little rough. The glide to open isn't as smooth as I would like. I also had to be sort of rough with it to close the umbrella. It doesn't seem built to last. Having said all that, I still think it will be good for my needs. I wanted a small umbrella for a trip I'm taking. I plan to do a lot of outdoor walking and don't want to wear a hat the whole time. This umbrella folds up to be compact and has a sturdy case to store it in. It fit nicely inside my travel purse and will take hardly any space in my carry on luggage. I also like the interior lining. It is very thick and will provide a lot of sun protection.

Perfect Travel Size/ Well Made
So far so good! These are compact, well made umbrellas that tuck compactly into travel purse. I have one that will fit a water bottle and this fits perfectly. Also, there is a really nice zippered case that comes with the umbrella. It could be used as a separate storage for sunglasses if you don’t use with umbrella. I ordered the two pack for upcoming European trip. It’s hard to find these smaller umbrellas. The best I have found!

Would not repurchase
I kinda hate this thing. Yes it's small. That's why I gave it two stars instead of one. Cons: 1. The case The case is a nice touch, but unnecessary in my opinion. First, that is just inviting mold if you use it for anything other than sun protection. You 100% need tow sit for your umbrella to completely dry before putting it back in the case. Then you're stuck carrying around a bulky case and an umbrella. Which leads me to my second point, the case is so big and bulky. It's bigger than the umbrella. Not at the sides, where it would count, giving space for bunching, but at either end, where the umbrella won't get any bigger. I would have been happier with just a little sleeve. 2. But Jess, the video SHOWS a little sleeve. Well, mine certainly didn't have one, and it was clearly new and not a return. 3. Opening this thing sucks. How to open it the first time is not intuitive, and there's no video or explanation. It comes with the little metal tips on the outer corners tucked into the base. I had to intuit that I needed to first unscrew the base, and then you're supposed to just force it up and open. The rest of the issues stem from here. 4. Not built to last This thing is flimsy as he||. Yes, it's small, but that doesn't mean it has to be flimsy. I had to grasp the umbrella part to pull the handle down, (ditto to push the telescoping pole back down) and I felt the umbrella crunching. As I pushed it up to fully open, everything was bowing and creaking. It also didn't glide up or down. It was stiff and resistant. This thing will not last. 5. The screw ball handle at the end Just messing with it in my bedroom for a minute or two to check it out, look at it in the mirror, etc, the little ball at the bottom kept unscrewing. And it's a cheap plastic ball, screwing onto cheap plastic threads. You crank it tight to avoid that, you will trash the threads and have more issues. I also think this wouldn't be very ergonomic for anyone who struggles with their hands. 6. The wrist strap The strap is very small, and thick elastic. A little itchy. This will be uncomfortable for anyone with bigger wrists. And don't think you could hang this from your wrist closed, because see con #5. 7. Made for toddlers?? Yes this umbrella is small. It also has a very small center pole. I'm 5'4, and was wearing a messy bun at the time I was testing this thing out, less than 3 inches tall. The pole is so short, unless I want to hold my arm up at an awkward, uncomfortable angle, the top of the umbrella was smashing down my bun, the spider poles tangling into my hair. I wasn't holding it any different than I'd hold any of the other dozens of umbrella si owned in my life. Who wants to walk around straining their arm, elbow, and shoulder? Fine for an emergency rain type situation, but if like me, you're buying it for uv protection, especially for at a theme park, that really sucks. 8. Finicky, messy, bulky fold down. I tried folding it down once, and was like this is huge and looks like crap. So I undid it, and tried again. You have to gather each of those little points on the edges, hold them tight around the center pole, push the ball up around them. Then you have to reform all the pleats with your fingers, tucking/pulling, then carefully wrap each one around. It was time consuming, and still didn't come out looking good and compact again. Oh, and side note, when you're pulling it back closed, there's nothing good to grasp. Just a small ridgy plastic bit that kind of hurts your fingers. And as for the pros? PRO 1. It's small. THAT'S IT.
