Item delivered does not look like item advertised
Some black paint has flaked off showing some rust. . Quite heavy and solid and good value for money. Not the same shape as advertised. Fits the chimney pot but isn’t as high as hoped. But the good thing is it’s manufactured in the UK and not made in China!

Very good chimney bird guard
This was very easy to fit and does the job of keeping the birds away from building a nest. It is made of very good quality material and should last a very long time. I would highly recommend this chimney bird guard.

Seems to do the trick.
Having recently had a blackbird and a starling get through my previous chimney guard, and it also seeming to attract rooks and pigeons to sit on top, I was looking for a new guard to replace it while I was having roof work done. I can't say how easy it was to install (the roofer did it). The guard fits neatly into the chimney and does't project as far up as the old rounded guard. So far, have had no large birds perching up there, but that may be the time of year. As to whether it will prevent any birds getting through - only time will tell.
