Avalon Gallery Our Lady of Grace Resin Garden Statue Figurine, 24 Inch

I received this statue for Mothers' Day and it's just beautiful. It is made of a mix of stone/resin so it has a good weight (about 6 pounds) and should not blow over, yet is able to withstand the elements (though I will bring her in before the winter snows and below freezing temps just to be safe). When I first opened her, I found the color a bit unexpected - it has a greenish cast - but in the yard it looks like a light patina. I've seen other statues where the facial features are indistinguishable but this one looks lovely all over. It was a bit over our budget ($100) but well worth it and I trust it will bring us joy for many years to come. I love to look out the window and see her in the yard - reminds me that no matter what, I'm not alone!

This statue of the Virgin Mary is very detailed, however, not as heavy as you would think and you will need to put some sand in it from the opening on the base to make it more steady. The face of the statue is exquisitely beautiful. I am very pleased how the package arrived. Box used was a little old, probably from being stocked. But we had no problems with the actual product inside it. I just hope this would last for years. I’ve been wanting to make a grotto by our koi pond for a few years now. And this is the actual piece that will compliment what we made.

This statue of our Mother Mary is a wonderful size. She is tall enough to put on the floor. The details are great. She is slightly different than the usual our Lady of Grace pose. The price is great too! I had seen her in a Catholic store for $40.00 more and on other websites for much more than that. She is light weight but not so much that you can knock her down. I can move her around and place her in different areas of the house. I decided to keep her indoors for now until next spring. I also decided to paint her.
