The size large fit my Penn 6500 surf reel (long cast) perfectly.

Great product. Elastic, with a handy grasp tag, that slips easily over my 4000 size spinning reel spools. Keeps the line on the spool and keeps it from spilling off the spool. Tab makes it easy to grab a remove. A clever little device that works! Highly recommend.

The large size are way too wide - photos on Amazon are deceptive.
The photos on Amazon are deceptive. I ordered all three sizes and although the mediums and smalls work fine, the large is way too wide for any spinning reel I know of.
