Work from Home
A little slow at times but honestly it works great for simple, WFH equipment.

Solid Lenovo Unit but Verify RAM Before Setup
I usually have great luck with refurbished Lenovo ThinkCentre units, and this one overall is still a solid machine. It arrived well packaged with all the expected components, and once I cleaned out the fan, it ran quietly and handled heat with no issues. These tiny desktops are normally very reliable. The problem was the configuration. This unit was advertised as having 16GB of RAM and a 256GB NVMe SSD, but mine only came with a single 8GB stick installed. That was a disappointment and not what I paid for. The only reason I caught it early was because the fan noise made me open it up and take a closer look. My advice is simple. Before you even start setting it up, open the case and verify the specs. It will save you time and frustration. The machine itself is good, but the listing accuracy was not. Because of that, I am giving it 3 out of 5 stars. Lenovo hardware still gets a thumbs up, but double check what you receive.

Fantastic computer for someone who doesn't need a lot of computing power.
This little business class refurb micro has been everything I want in a home use desktop computer. I don't put a lot of strain on my computers. I don't store much on them, I don't use them for serious computing -- basic word processing, finance management, and internet access. I love that it's so small. The desktop that I replaced was over a decade old and was starting to creak, and it was enormous. This takes up barely any room on my desk. My only complaint was that, when it was refurbished, the onboard wifi card was removed and replaced with a 2.4 single speed plug in dongle that was, frankly, terrible. I replaced it with a dual band 2.4/5 GHz plug in for $15 and couldn't be happier with the results. The only glitch I've had is I purchased an online Blizzard game at Christmas, a classic title, and there are certain situations (not frequent, though) in which the onboard graphics can't handle what's required so blocks will go dark. Not a big deal, and I knew going in that it would likely challenge the unit's capabilities. All in all, extremely pleased with my purchase.

Good value, solid machine, Win 11
I decided on this unit based on Lenovoโs brand reliability, and I was not disappointed. Out of the box it started and installed with no issues. It starts very fast, and runs like a champ. It has the features I need and no hardware issues at all. Highly recommended.

Not terrible but not quite as described..
1. The unit came with a Bluetooth USB adapter and a separate Wi-Fi USB adapter installed in the back. This takes up two of the four USB ports meaning this unit ships with only two usable USB ports in the back if you intend to use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. I checked inside and there is no Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card installed. I guess this explains why it mentions that it comes with and included combo Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapter.. although mine came with two separate adapters instead of a combo adapter. 2. The unit is missing the SATA adapter cable that I've always seen these units ship with even if there's no hard disk drive installed. I don't currently plan on using it but I guess I'll have to try to hunt for one now just in case I do want to use one in the future. Would have been really nice if they included a short list of what's not included. That should also be reflected in the price. I've seen complete units sell for less than what I paid for this unit and that was recently. 3. The top of the case has a terribly applied vinyl sticker on it. It wouldn't be a big deal but that's not shown in the pictures and it looks terrible. As far as I'm aware you can't reapply these vinyl stickers so good luck getting one that looks decent. 4. This is a minor annoyance, there's also thermal paste.. probably from someone's dirty fingers.. on the shroud for the CPU fan. It doesn't hurt anything and you can't see it when the case is closed but I know it's there and even used, it kind of bothers me. Thermal past can be somewhat impossible to get off of some plastic, it tends to stain.. just thought I'd be thorough and mention it. 5. Not that I really planned on using it but it would have been nice if the keyboard and mouse was a set. They are not. They each have their own USB dongle that needs to be plugged in. That brings the total accessible USB ports from 5 down to 1. If you use their included Bluetooth dongle that's one, if you use their included Wi-Fi dongle that's two, and then the keyboard and mouse each have a dongle so that's four. I think they should be clearly stated in the listing. If you need the features they advertise in the listing such as wi-fi, bluetooth, and plan on using the include the keyboard and mouse.. you will only have one USB port available. Plus a USB c Port but then you'd have to use an adapter to use a regular USB type A cable. 6. It does appear to come with a valid copy of Windows 11 Pro. Although, there are two programs pre-installed that shouldn't be there. A strange version of OneDrive that can't be uninstalled. Along with VLC player. I see really nothing wrong with VLC player but it shouldn't be there. Not on a fresh install of Windows. I suggest anyone that purchases this, freshly installed windows yourself just in case. The strange version of the one drive program is the most concerning and it was installed the same day as VLC. Conclusion: I've never had such a bad luck buying one of these used but I've purchased every single other one I've purchased on eBay. Amazon sellers seem to use the same stock photos vs eBay sellers taking photos of each PC they have for sale and changing/updating them in the listings. In other words had I purchased this through eBay I probably would have seen in the pictures that it had the sticker but that's not the case with Amazon. Amazon sellers also seem to use the same generic description which leaves out details you'll see much more often on eBay. I wanted to get one a little faster so I ordered one this time from Amazon but a few days faster isn't probably worth rolling the dice and not really knowing what you're getting (for example the pictures not matching and no mention of these USB adapters). On the plus side, it's not incredibly dirty inside nor does it smell like smoke. It seems stable so far so I think the CPU is fine but I might clean it off and reapply my own thermal paste in the near future. The RAM is nothing special but I already have RAM to upgrade it. The NVMe drive isn't anything special but it is an NVMe drive and these days that's worth something. Although I could send back the system, I think I might keep it if I can get at least a partial refund for the misleading advertising and that really getting what I was expecting to get. Or I guess I'll just send it back and go back to eBay. Would I recommend it from STG on Amazon, probably not unless they make it right and improve their listings on Amazon unless you need it quickly and understand that the listing may not be lying but may not be totally truthful either. I will be giving Amazon a call. I'm not sure this company should be on their list of Amazon qualified suppliers or at the very least the issues I have listed above should be reported to Amazon.

Great value for an 8th generation CORE I5
Unit looks like new inside and out, worked perfectly out of the box and runs Windows 11 like a dream. Excellent value in my book for a later generation CORE I5. You can improve performance if you need to with a faster SSD (Samsung EVO is good) and upgrading to 16GB of RAM, but for my application as a media PC in a home theatre system it is perfect as is - highly recommended. Note that it does not come with internal WIFI, they provide a USB WIFI/Bluetooth dongle. I don't personally like these so I added an Intel WIFI card for about $25 to give me wireless and Bluetooth without taking up a USB port. If you plan to use wired networking that doesn't matter, it comes with a CAT 5 port.

Compact and Ready To Work
This is being used for my board room for zoom meetings. It is great to have a computer dedicated for that specific purpose. It fits neatly next to the monitor without taking much space.

Lenovo ThinkCentre M920q review
Pretty spot on, only beef is wired keyboard and mouse sent when title clearly said wireless. Not a huge deal though. Was also Windows 11 Pro, to which I thought it may be Home edition so thats a plus too.
