Waterproofing Membrane - Multi-Surface Leak and Crack Repair Interior and Exterior Coating, Water-Based, Easy to Apply, 1 Quart (Brown Slate)

Product arrived solid, but their customer support very quickly processed & shipped replacements. Surface prep is critical for good adhesion, so take the time to do so. I applied 3 coats on my mosaic tile shower floor as a temporary fix (suspect water leaking through deteriorated grout lines) until our remodel start date. This stuff did the trick to stop the leak! With 2 coats, it was perfectly clear and only noticeable because of the sheen. My 3rd coat contained a non-slip grip additive, which made it VERY noticeable, but it’s temporary and for a shower, so function over form is the name of the game in my case. It was easy to apply…rolled on and cleaned-up just like latex paint, and had very little odor, which cleared away very quickly. Great product overall!

Excellent protection. Just keep in mind that it works more like a thick stain than a paint. After 3 coats I could still see through to where some of the old paint didn't come off the wood.

Was able to stop water infiltration in based walls from the inside. As long as surface was clean and firm, this applied over exit paint. It's better to remove all the old paint, but I was too lazy to scrape the whole area, so I left some of the old, firmly attached paint and it still did what I needed done.

Good idea (colors) but poor execution. Might be ok as interior wall paint but not suited for surfaces with active water contact. Peeled within days. - Stated area coverage is wildly inaccurate. Must be divided by 2-3, at least. - Extremely poor adhesion even on rough surfaces. Peels easily. - Very thin and watery compared to other liquid membrane products. Not necessarily a bad sign but worth noting. - Discolors and separates from surface after water contact. Representative blamed all on insufficient curing time but same thing happened after trying again with recommended curing time. - Unhelpful and unresponsive customer service.

Worked as described, applied 3 coats with proper dry time between each coat. Product dries transparent, but has a gloss finish too it. Overall- I am pleased with the results.

Have a hot tub leaking and it just peels off when under water for a long period of time

1quart enough for two coats….excellent product!
