Bought this new after borrowing out and losing my last one. This book is awesome and really does a good job breaking down pregnancy month by month with exercises, breathing, nutrition, and a what’s happening section for each. I first read this book before I was even pregnant as a way to understand my body and nutrition better. I borrow to all my friends

There were many tips from this book that I used in my pregnancy. The parts on antithesis diet for specific dosha were very interesting. Some advices were bit unrealistic to follow especially the extensive journaling. Overall I would recommend this book for those future mommies that have interest in yoga,ayurveda and more holistic approach to pregnancy

pretty good reference for an Ayurvedic pregnancy. not necessarily strictly Ayurvedic in recommendations, but definitely a good reference to have along with the more general books such as Svoboda Ayurveda for Women.

I require this book as part of the curriculum for my 85 hour prenatal yoga teacher training. I chose this book because of it's ability to educate students in the basics of Ayurveda during pregnancy. I think that the author did a great job synthesizing some very complex material into layman's terms. My trainees always really enjoy this book. I think the postpartum section could be a bit more comprehensive.

Wonderful resource that includes ayurvedic teachings and traditions for pregnancy-a rare gem of knowledge. Beautifully structured, easy to read. Love how this book relates yoga philosophy to pregnancy and motherhood as well. Not just a list of asanas, but includes well described practices appropriate for each stage, including but not limited to, pranayama and mantra. Now on my must read list for expecting families.

This book was a reading assignment for my Ayurveda training. It is just full of great information for the expectant woman. It was a great read even though I had my children long ago!

Like the contents and the way author explained small things

This was the best pregnancy book I've read! Especially as it combines pregnancy topics / issues with Ayurveda, Yoga and Medition. A wonderful guide!

This is a wonderful guide for an extremely tender time in a woman's life. I personally used this book during 9 months of pregnancy as a reference, for exercises, writing projects, and recipes. The author has clearly put loads of her own light, love, and research in writing Yoga Mama Yoga Baby. I highly recommend purchasing this product.

Absolutely beautiful book!

Non l'ho ancora letto tutto ma sin dalle prime pagine mi è piaciuto molto soprattutto perché pratico da molti anni lo yoga. E' un percorso che possono fare tutti coloro che sono già vicini o che intendono avvicinarsi a questa pratica e conoscere l'ayurveda. Consigliatissimo.
