Ideal 61-757 - 600A AC/DC TRMS TightSight Clamp Meter

I am thoroughly impressed with this new multimeter model. It is extremely user-friendly and has an overall design that is very appealing. Having previously owned the first version of this multimeter, I can confirm the advancements in the newer model, such as the optional display screen at the bottom. However, I do miss a feature from the older version. The previous multimeter had a vibration alert when it sensed voltage, which the new model lacks. Despite this, it remains a solid purchase and continues to be an excellent tool. Overall, the improvements in the design and functionality make it worth considering, even though the absence of the vibration feature is a minor drawback. This multimeter is a reliable and efficient choice for anyone in need of a high-quality device.

Great electrical multimeter. Did not expect this quality from Ideal from their different products in past. Good functions, voltage, current, capacitance & resistance. Also super easy to read with the display built into the bottom of unit. Very bright backlight when activated.

This is a great tool if you know how to use a multimeter. I bought it because it has great sensitivity for very low currents. This allows me to read straight currents or what they call parasitic leaking current when checking battery train on an automobile.. I found the price to be reasonable. But if you never used a multi reader like this, my suggestion is that you don’t skip the instructions read them carefully so that you don’t damage it when using it, especially when trying to recurrent with the multimeter leads.

I am impressed with the accuracy of this meter. It feels solid, well made. The leads are pretty good as well. I don't like the NCV function as it has been somewhat unreliable not always detecting voltage when there is voltage. I even put new batteries in but that didn't help. I was a bit disappointed initially when I used the ohm function and the continuity buzzer buzzed constantly while reading resistance. If you read the directions, it tells you simply to press the select button to use it for resistance measurements and no buzzer. All in all, I Think it is a good meter. I have 2 fluke meters but neither has the clamp on amp meter which is why I bought this meter and am satisfied.

Works great and easy to use. The dial is easy to manipulate. You can also look at the readings in two positions. The clamp is strong and accurate. Comes ready to use and has everything you need to know that your project will be successful Great price too.

I had searched for a Fluke meter, and this popped in my search list. I wasn't paying attention, and bought this by mistake. Rather than return it due to my mistake, I took it for a spin. Professional electricians (I am not) say this brand is 2nd only to Fluke quality. I agree, and the price was right too.

Exactly as advertised, works great in an industrial environment. Seems to be built very well too. Love the tight sight screen in hard to reach areas and that the screens are back-lit.

PRODUCTO DEFECTUOSO. La herramienta me duró 4 meses, la usé sin problemas y estaba a gusto con ella. El problema fue que el día de ayer no me dio lectura del voltaje, el líquido de las baterías dañó la herramienta. Necesito comunicarme con el vendedor de manera urgente.
