It Works OK
I wanted artist tape for holding down my paper for watercolor painting. It's important that it lifts off easily without tearing the paper, which it does. However, it is very thin, and it doesn't adhere very well. Once the water gets to the edges where the tape is, it usually lifts up from the wetness, which would make the paper warp if I didn't add more tape. So, for my purposes, this tape does not work well. However, using it to tape down a paper that will not get all wet would probably be fine. So, depending on your needs, this could be a great tape.

Don't bother buying
This is nothing but super thin, glorified, see through masking tape. And it does rip the paper. I needed to cover up lines in music so I could write pronunciation I understand better. NOT for that, as another user showed. I even tried doing white out tape on top of it and it was just a mess.

Use this
Will purchase again. I use it to wrap wire skeletons for amigurumi. It's not too bulky and creates a good barrier.

I use this to acrylic painting on watercolour paper, most tape ripped the paper, this is very good, a bit pricey though
