You need to give them both the veg and fruit everyday. Give them a little of this but try and join a sugar glider group. They will help you also.

Is oatmeal the main ingredient? That's a filler that is bad for gliders. Shouldn't something nutritional like chicken be the first ingredient?

Thank you for your inquiry concerning our Sugar Glider Food. Please be assured, we would not formulate any diets that are not beneficial or harmful to an animal. Sugar gliders are difficult to feed in captivity and it would be difficult to duplicate their diets found in a feral environment. These animals are omnivorous and can eat a variety of foods. The basic diet in captivity is our Sugar Glider pelleted food. This diet is intended to be supplemented with some fruits, vegetables, and honey. Feeding oatmeal is not a filler and contributes essential amino acids necessary for growth and maintenance. It is a fortified diet containing many of the nutrients sugar gliders require and should be fed as the main portion of a total diet. As per our Feeding Instructions, the average sugar glider will consume around one ounce of pelleted food per day. Due to the complexities of their diet, we encourage you to consult with an exotic pet veterinarian for guidance on the ideal daily balance of supplemental fresh foods for your sugar glider’s unique dietary needs. Fresh drinking water should always be available. Discard uneaten food and clean dish before each feeding.

I always keep dry food in my sugar gliders cage and they seem to like this one. They usually eating fresh food and the dry food is there in case they get hungry but they eat this one up quite quickly.

We have a picky fellow. He's Australian-bred and is very finicky about his treats and staple food. This food was recommended as one that is more like a natural diet for gliders and it couldn't be more far from the truth. If we deviate from this good tot EY something else, he throws it like a bad meal in a French restaurant. Bring it back as he is all happy again. Try it and you will be loved by your glider forever!
