Introduce little ones to patterns in this bold and graphic tabbed board book by illustrator and textile designer Jane Foster. In this colorful and sophisticated board book with patterened tabs on the side, children will be introduced to bold, vibrant patterns that Tiger finds, such as striped fish, spotted submarines, triangular tents, square suitcases, swirly balloons, starry skies, and more! Praise for Jane Fosterโs ABC and Jane Fosterโs 123: โBoth titles are stunningly simple, but Foster is able to create some truly arresting images here, making both books pleasurable repeat reads. A fetching and effective introduction to the world of numbers.โ โStarred Kirkus Reviews review โItโs a book that style-minded parents and kids can appreciate equally.โ โStarred Publisherโs Weekly review โThis unusually attractive counting board book from the British illustrator and textile designer Jane Foster shows off her style in a way that will catch โ and hold โ the eye of grown-ups and younger children alike.โ โNew York Times Childrenโs Board Book roundup review Review: Home Run again for Foster books - My nephew is 2 and when he saw this book from across the room, went running after it to show me the tiger. He is obsessed with all of the Jane Foster books and this one did not disappoint. Not sure what it is about the books, be it design or styling, but he favors these books over all others and can identify all of the objects in the books. It's nice they are consistent for me so I make sure to reinforce the same word as mom and dad are doing at home with a glance. He's even started counting now up to ten, though all flowers are forever labelled in groups of three and dogs are happy. Highly recommended these books, this one particular is a little larger than the others and a step more advanced than the others. Nephew loves watching images repeat on multiple pages and finding the tiger over and over. Two thumbs up. Review: Excellent - Beautiful book

One of my favorites
I use this book with my infant daughter, who absolutely loves books and turning the pages herself. It is bigger than all the other Jane Foster books except the Brown Bear Color Book. My daughter shows a strong preference for Jane Foster's illustrations. I enjoy using the book to talk to her about patterns, colors, and numbers.
