This hinge has a very smooth operation. It's helpful that it folds out and stays in position until you close it. It seems durable. I did use a router to recess the hinge. It might be challenging to flush mount the hinge if you don't have a router. Overall, a nice product.

You get2 in the package. Very good quality metal. Bought for a trap door in laundry room where heater is. It’s a very old log house. They really look nice & are very strong & a good choice for this door.

Handles are good quality and arrived very well packaged. The rubber bumpers that cushion the handle in the down or retracted position come off very easily. Be prepared to re-glue or re-attach when put into use.

The handle is tension loaded. I have this on a hatch door and the handle stays down when thumping on it or sliding things over it. When it is propped up it stays up. It is easy to use and move between the positions. great product.
