How is the lip on these? Thick (as found in cheaper glasses) or thin (as in nicer glasses)?

I would say the lip is quite thin but you could find thinner. These are quite nice glasses, not quite as sophisticated as a Reidel, but they are definitely good enough to serve side by side.
