Q: how about manufacturer's warranty, how long is the warranty?

Unit has basic 1, 3, and 5 year warranty. Printed owner's manual listing warranty is available from Amazon under unit listed technical specifications in pdf format. My units are on site at the client's, so I do not have manuals in hand. Have two of these units and we are satisfied with the quality and operations.

Q: I have a big basement (2,200 sq ft) with several rooms. I’m wondering if I leave it in one particular room it will cover the whole surface

I would say yes I have in a 1200 sf with partitioned areas and it pulls with no problem although my partition have doors and and 1 is where the water line ,drain and meter are located it’s not finished with insulation and sheet Rock walls just carpeted. And I’m not sure it’s really part of the main basement but there’s nothing in there that needs dehumidifying. I love this unit it’s super quail draws very low current, it took about a full 3-5 days to really pull all humidity out of my finished basement which was about 60-65% on sum days now it’s 40-45 % and shuts off regularly to maintain. 2200 is about twice the size. I would have too look at the specs again and see the max size room it’s big enough for. I’m sure it will work if it’s a finished basement, unfinishedit would depend how much leakage of moisture comes through the block, my block was sealed before it was finished it’s not a wet room but gets humid on rainy days if no dehumidifier is present. Hope this helps It’s still by far the best unit I ever owned it’s super pro and i blows away all the plastic consumer ones that aren’t much less
