As advertised, but much more within than I expected.
I just received this product, right out the box I put it to use. I have had an issue since as far back as I can remember with these whispie type flyers bugs that invade homes to live on the plants, in the soil and (as i just figured out, breed in the dark crevices of our homes..which is why soil treatments don't quite exterminate the populations) I use D.E. for insects inside.. it's safe for pets & people. While the Terminator to any insect alive. It dries the exoskeleton out.. dehydrates the insect. Term CRISPIE sums it up. Only spiders don't seem to be effected by D.E. Problem with D.E, is it's kind of hard to sift around the outdoors, when it's windy. There's seldom a day when the wind does not blow. No matter the season. SO... Neem Oil and a mixture of Hydrated Lime is my go to outdoors.. an added bonus, is the Neem will add to my plants the much needed health they need. It won't harm the plants ( applying it in the early am or the dusk hour.. not during the midday unless we're under cloud cover) Indoors this should rid my pots of those pesky nose buzzars.. the flying whispie (dumbest bugs created, I think) Will, if given an opportunity fly right up your nose! I've tried bathing my plants and tossing the soil, only to wind up with a new mess new soil all over again. So it's not the soil. Though I do believe these pesky things, as well as, coming in through open doors and the tiny holes in screens - may as well, take free rides with us from places we purchase our plants from.. all types of plants. These are not limited in taste to just a certain type of plant, either. Mint, Rosemary, Basil, Christmas Cactus, all the way to putting seeds in fresh potting mix and starting your own blooms from the seed (say from the apple you just devoured)..yeah frustration times 10! I've found these flying nose bombers to have come out from behind lifted parts of my door frame in a bathroom upstairs. Today I took a tiny paint brush ran it through the Neem at the top of the container.. and swiped the brush through the open area between the frame and wall.. a few minutes later a nose bomber appeared. GOTCHA!! So I've swiped each frame then set up my mix. Water bottle, today it's Pelligrino's poked holes through the cap, added a small dollup of Neem to the bottle, added two small pumps of dish liquid, and filled 3/4 the way with water. Covered the top and shook the bottle. Like you're mixing your Martini.. Seeing when it looked well mixed, no more Neem sitting on the rim. I filled the bottle all the way, screwed on the cap. Gave it a good shake (covering the holes). An off we went.. shook the mixture all over the leaves and the top soil of every one upstairs. Thanks to Neem, my plants will be the happiest window sitters ever! And YES, it has a smell.. was well prepared for the smell. It's not an odor. To me it smells like the Original flavor of the Oriental soup base for Top Ramen. I've been dealing with Neem Oil, for many years. For wounds, not plants. So this is not my 1st Neem Rodeo. Just my 1st purchase of this size of an amount and with this seller. Like i said, the Neem IS my friend.. and yours if you 1st do your homework. To get detailed information an precise, I would suggest taking a trip over to Jade Bloom. Every Oil they sell is well described, and their is a community of 'Pro's' who KNOW the in's and outs of each particular oil. I've been purchasing with them for YEeeeeeaaaaaars. I get my larger bulk in things like Yard and home from other locals, such as this seller. (Though this is my 1st order of Neem, it won't be my last.) To the seller, thanks for getting the shipment right out. That was much appreciated! Also, Great color and texture of the Neem. Smells just like my smaller bottle for wounds..

Great but takes a bit more work
Been using this for a couple years now, itโs great if you like to mix your own watering blend. For my succulents I mix a gallon of water I mix in a couple pumps of dish soap, about 1/8 cup neem oil, and a small spoonful of dry fertilizer. Works great year-round in Southern California. When itโs colder (mid-60โs F) the oil will solidify, so you have to warm it in a very hot water bath before using. If youโre willing to put in that work itโs a huge value compared to the ready to use sprays youโll find at the hardware store. Also if you use indoors be prepared for a spice smell for about an hour after you water your plants.

It works
Had a serious rose infestation on 50 Knockout rose bushes. They were loaded with Aphids, rose slugs, and numerous other rose devouring pests which were destroying all my plants in the landscaping..Did all I could; sprays , hand washing you name it and what a nightmare as I watched all the roses drying up and drying because of all the attempts to save them..Researched and decided to do a soil soak with Neem Oil and Castile soap mix..mixed up several gallons and went around all the Knockouts and other shrubs with around 2 cups on each shrub of the mix..I cannot believe after a few weeks and 3 dousings there is NOT one stinking Aphid or Rose slug on any of the Knockouts or anything else!!...It stinks and the smell will stay with you but when you see a bugless garden it becomes a welcome fragrance as it saved my landscaping and I now give them a dose about every 10 days and water frequently..Still nothing is eating them and if they do they are dead dried up stuck to a solitary leave or 2...This will harden up in the bottle so I put the container in hot water in a bucket and it pours nicely after..I also mix this with a gallon of "hot" water and a tablespoon of Castile with 2 tablespoons of Neem and shake to break it down. It solidifies and It doesn't work in cold or warm water just hot but everyone tells you to use warm and I don't understand why..This is a good product for me and it has been working good at a good price..UPDATE, it has now been about 2 months since I have been doing the soil soak. I have been increasing the Neem oil to about twice the amount per and all the roses are going crazy with dozens of new buds on every plant and still not one stinking rose eating bug..This has been totally organic and it has been acting like a fertilizer. The bees still are roaming around everything without any regards and have been increasing pollinating everything..I had pests which were terrorizing the "rose of Sharon, lavender, hydrangeas and others chewing the hell out of the leaves making them look like Swiss cheese, but all stopped since they have been getting the Neem oil soil soak also...Really a good remedy..Forget about spraying the plants do the soak....

Effective for Rose Pest Control
I use it mixed with Castile soap to control pests on my rose bushes, and it works really well. Itโs been very effective against aphids and other common garden insects. My only complaint is about the bottle design โ the opening makes it hard to pour without spilling. The oil tends to run down the side of the bottle every time, so I have to wipe it clean after each use. If the container had a nozzle or drip-control top, it would be much more user-friendly. Great product overall, just hoping for better packaging in the future!

It works for spider mites
It got rid of the spider mites. Because it is so thick I cut a small hole in the top and have to squeeze it out into the water bottle, and I use hot water so it melts. My plant have a nice shine after spraying which I love. There is a smell for a couple of days after you spray, its not the worst smell but it is a little funky, so I wouldn't recommend spraying a few days before you have company. Also be careful for what is around your plants because it will leave a slight oily residue

Effective, Easy to use, and safe.
I really love this stuff. I had a severe case of aphids that spread rapidly. So much so, I was actually considering just tossing the infected plants which is not something iv ever done because my plants are like my babies. I didnt want to use any store bought pesticides because in the past, even with following the directions exactly, my plants always ended up getting chemical burns. I have two cats who love to nibble when im not around and a 3 year old who shares my loves for plants and is always helping to water and care for them. I needed something strong enough to take care of this problem but mild enough to cause no harm to my daughter, cats and the plants themselves. I did a ton of research and decided this was my best choice. Im soo pleased with how well this worked. The smell is strong but thats mother natures fault lol I just tried not to breath it in, I also wore gloves and sprayed them down away from where we hang out outside. Being its summer, I let them hang out outside for a few days under my table umbrella and would check on them daily. I would say 90% of the aphids were dead by day one and by day 3 any leftovers slowly died off as well. The plants didnt get any burns at all, in fact I feel like they all look healthier and stronger then before all this happened. I would 100% recommend this. I plan on doing this bi yearly to all my plants as a way to prevent infestations in the future. A couple complaints iv read were that the bottle you get is smaller then it looks in the pictures because it has a handle and most bottles with handles are meant for gallons, although I agree the pictures can give off that impression, its really not a problem considering one treatment doesn't require a lot of product, so I don't find that to even be a problem. In fact I like that its smaller because it was easier to pour and control plus storing it doesn't take a lot of space. Another complaint was that when it arrived it solidified, yes mine was this way as well, but I simply left it out in the sun while I set up my treatment area and got everything I needed together and by the time I was ready to use (about 30 minutes) it was melted enough that I was able to use it. By the time I put everything away it was completely melted. It sais in the directions that you can always heat up some water and let the bottle sit in the water for a bit (like heating up a bottle for a baby). Again not a big deal and for how well this product worked is certainly not going to stop me from purchasing again when I run out. In short, it was effective, easy to use and considering its natural and safe, its a no brainer.

I LIKE THE SCENT AND TEXTURE, USING IT FOR WOUNDS + PREVENT SCARS
The bottle is small but cute. It's easy to pour. I recommend only poking a few holes in the top rather than ripping off the seal so you don't dribble and drip the oil, wasting some. I've been enjoying Neem oil for about 10 years. My first Neem purchase was a small round tub of Neem by Alaffia. That brand is black or African owned and smelled so very good. I haven't found Alaffia oil again since, but it helped to shrink and fade scars from oven burns and cat scratches on my arms. The scars aren't even visible now. It took a few applications of the oil, maybe every day for a week or so. I like the scent because it's kind of nutty, not too earthy, doesn't smell like an essential oil to me. Don't buy one you aren't able to return if you don't enjoy the scent. This week I used the oil by dabbing it on a little cut in my arm that I was worried was taking too long to scab over and dry up. I got the cut last week and I tend to work at clearing up skin blemishes and wounds quickly because it's one way I assess my immune system and health of my cells. This oil helped clear up not only the tender scab that has been forming, but helped it to dry up and fall off quickly. My little cut wound site is now just pink and doesn't look like it will scar.

Make sure you know how much you're buying
The product is superb and I really mean that. It works very well and it works quickly and Is all natural. So why 3 stars? Well, I think that the presentation about the amount that you are getting is very misleading. You shouldn't resort to tricks because when people find out they will be angry. First they deliberately shape the bottle as if it's a large gallon, but it's really just a small 16 bottle as shown in my picture. Secondly the 16oz bottle is measured by net oz, like a solid! Why measure a fluid in a way that you normally measure solids? Are they going to start selling neem oil by the bushel and kilo as well? Why go through so much tricks and games to shape small bottles as gallons? Yall know good and well that handle on a 16 oz bottle is not necessary.. Other than that the product is fine, does what I need it to do, I just feel like I have to constantly have my guard up because of chicanery like this, just be straight with people.

Ease of mixing
Arrived well packed. Been using it on my plants, and getting good results. Mixes more readily into water for my sprays than another product that I used.
