Bellroy Venture Sling 6L (crossbody bag)

LOVE! Got this little pack for a recent trip and I’ve using it daily since the trip. It’s big enough to fit a small water bottle and note book. It has a bunch of compartments which is great for organizing. It has a long strap and is relatively lightweight. Highly recommend! Nice fabric, looks sleek and it’s the most functional sling bag I’ve seen. For travel, if you don’t want to use it as your personal item it’s light weight and small enough to squeeze in your suitcase or backpack while on the plane.

I've had a few different sling bags, TomToc and similar. There are a lot of great bags out there, but this one is just better, IMHO. I think the thing that separates this one from others is the organization features. Also, the harness system on this is SIGNIFICANTLY better. It lays better on my back or side or front. Really great bag! It's worth the price!

So I love this bag, I’ve had it for about 3 months now and it’s the perfect edc bag. Plenty of compartments, not too big and bulky, love the look and the easy detachable and adjustable strap makes it that much better for your every day use. It’s not all that water resistant or atleast not from the bottom cuz I did take it out to a pool party and just it laying on top of water (not submerged) got the inside all wet and unfortunately did do a bit of damage to a leather wallet I had inside of it. The extra side and stretchy pockets are an added bonus I didn’t even realize it had. The only complaint I’d probably have is that the adjustable belt has randomly come apart a few times, I’ve luckily been able to catch it every time but it’s super annoying and not to mention embarrassing to just be walking about it your business and your whole bag just snap off of your person. The other complaint would also be about the strap and it would be the fact that it is a dark black metal; the metal not being the complaint, but the fact that it’s a dark black metal and not scratch resistant quickly left it looking not so appealing. I enjoy the way the zippers open out because it does make it feel more secure but I did switch out the zipper pulls for a much easier way to open and close on daily use. I’d probably recommend the pulls for those who are wondering how to make it better and I’d also suggest to Bellroy to make the bag actually water resistant or proof as well as making the inside pockets In The big pouch infront of the other zipper pocket stretchy so that you could fit stuff in that pocket more easily. Maybe even add a few loops you could easily hook stuff to on the outside of the bag as I didn’t end up finding myself making my own alterations to add like a pocket knife or key fob to. Oh and if you could sell just the strap on its own so we could replace the scratched up one that would be great Bellroy.

I had some mix thoughts about this bag before buying it. When I saw 6L I thought it would be huge…but it ended up being the perfect size! I was comparing it to WANDRD 6L bag and that looked too big. I used it for a trip to Kona and it was wonderful. I was able to store my Sony A7III WITH a bigger lens. It can hold a lot without looking massive. The zippers are very nice and the bag itself was very water resistant and solid. It’s perfect for a travel go bag too! I put my sunglasses and my little camera in it and was able to go hiking and out with it! I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a new medium sized bag!

Great bag. I really like how much it will hold, yet collapses when lightly loaded due to the strap design. It has zippered pockets for organization. THe best sling I've owned.

I bought this bag to bring with me on my 2-week trip to Japan/Taiwan. I'm not the most experienced with sling bags, but definitely wanted one as carrying a backpack feels bulky at times and also makes my back sweat a lot. This bag is $129. It's pretty pricey in my opinion. I bought this because the bag can expand to fit a good amount, and then the straps pull on the sides and sort of flattens the bag out. This helps a lot when the bag isn't full, and I don't want it bulging. When empty, it flattens out completely, which I love. For the price, I wish it had more features. Maybe an underarm stabilizing strap. I wish it had a velcro friendly interior to give me the option of using dividers to create my open organization/compartments. The strap is basically like a seatbelt webbed material. No cushion/padding whatsoever. I like how it's thin because it's easier to pack and I'm not forced to having a thick strap. But, for the price, it would be nice to have them include an attachable strap cushioned wrap for the times we want it. The dual zipper opening mechanism. Thought it was weird at first, but I actually love it now. No issues with the zippers. They open/close without a problem. One problem with the exterior pocket. The zipper is deep inside a valley basically, so when it rains, water will pool on it rather than flowing off. Not the biggest fan of it. If I truly like the bag for the 2 weeks, I'll keep it. If the cons outweigh the pros, then it's getting returned

I needed a light minimal looking bag to carry everything I dont want in my pockets. The zipper helps prevent water from getting in, though it can be a bit cumbersome to use. But t doesn’t take away from how compact and sleek it looks.

I purchased this for a weeklong trip where I needed a larger bag, and after many reviews I ended up choosing this one. The build quality is great, and the zippers are high quality. The fabric feels very strong, and it has so much room. I was able to fit a small camera, cellphone battery charger, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, sunblock, wallet, and many other small items with ease. It was very comfortable to wear, and the quick release buckle design was so helpful. It’s a very lightweight product, and even when filled to capacity I hardly noticed I was wearing it.

Pesquisei muito antes de comprar essa bolsa, e não me arrependo. Quando viajo acho mais seguro usar slingbag, pela prsticidsde e segurança. Usava uma de 4L da Fjallraven, que surpreendentemente é maior que essa de 6L da Bellroy. Comprei na cor cobre, que é linda, e o tamanho e divisórias são perfeitos. Vale muito a pena. Mas fui taxada e tive que pagar pra liberarem, quando no anúncio informa que isso não aconteceria.

Von Zeit zu Zeit stößt man auf ein Produkt, das einfach so gut ist, dass man das Bedürfnis hat, es in die Welt hinauszuschreien. So verhält es sich mit meiner Bellroy Venture Sling! Ich hatte das Glück, ein Exemplar in der Farbe "Basalt" zu einem extrem günstigen Preis zu erwischen – einer Art Grau mit einem Hauch von Blau – eine wirklich einzigartige Farbe, die total mein Stil ist. Leider scheint diese Farbe nicht mehr erhältlich zu sein, aber wenn Ihr Glück habt, findet Ihr vielleicht noch eine! Das Raumangebot ist perfekt, um ein DIN A5 Notizbuch, ein iPad mini 6, eine kleine Powerbank und eine Fülle von Kleinigkeiten unterzubringen. Die innere Aufteilung der Tasche ist so durchdacht, dass alles einen festen Platz hat und nichts unkontrolliert herumschwirrt. Das ist ein großes Plus für jemanden, der gerne organisiert ist! Außerdem sorgt die helle Farbe des Innenraumes dazu, dass man alles leicht findet - ganz im Gegensatz zu einer Tasche mit schwarzem Innenraum. Sehr nett ist auch das weich gefütterte Sonnenbrillen-Fach in das ich meine teure Sonnenbrille ohne zusätzliche Box sicher geschützt verstaut habe. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist das geniale Konzept der Reißverschlüsse. Normalerweise muss man die Tasche öffnen, indem man die Reißverschlüsse auseinanderzieht. Bei der Bellroy Venture Sling hingegen zieht man die Reißverschlüsse zusammen, um die Tasche zu öffnen. Zwar kann man die Tasche so nicht auf beiden Seite gleichzeitig vollständig öffnen, im Alltag erleichtert es aber den Zugriff enorm und vollständig öffnen muss man sie in der Praxis nur beim ersten Einräumen. Auch die seitlichen Riemen, mit denen man die Tasche zusammenziehen und flacher machen kann, wenn sie nicht voll gefüllt ist, sind ein cleveres Feature. Ich habe dort einen Heroclip-Karabiner befestigt, mit dem ich die Tasche überall bequem aufhängen kann – sehr praktisch, insbesondere in öffentlichen Toiletten, wenn kein Haken vorhanden ist! Was die Qualität betrifft, ist die Verarbeitung der Bellroy Venture Sling absolut erstklassig. Sie sieht nicht nur schick aus, sie fühlt sich auch so an. Ich fasse das Material total gerne an. Sie ist robust, gut gemacht und hinterlässt einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Ich bin im Internet auf einige Berichte gestoßen, die von Problemen mit den Clips der Tragegurte berichten. Bei mir hat bisher alles tadellos funktioniert, wahrscheinlich weil ich die Clips im Alltag nicht öffne und die Sling stattdessen schnell über den Kopf ziehe. Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen: Diese Tasche hat mein Leben wirklich bereichert. Ich gehe nicht mehr ohne sie aus dem Haus.

Been using it for a few years now, its my everyday that suits my needs. Its sleek design makes it easy to pair with almost any outfit you wear, quality is good as other than the brand logo showing wear and tear the rest of the bag still holds strong.

I just received the bag today, love all the details. The materials feel durable and look nice, the slate gray colour look even better than the picture. The size overall look small but surprisingly it fit all my stuffs without feeling stuffed (car key, house key, bose head set, wallet, sunglasses, swiss knife, some small purfume bottle, hand sanitizer, iphone, powerbank). Also there’s some space left just right space for my Nintendo switch. The zipper detail is great and the magnetic strap feel really good. I would love to get another one of a different size and colour!
