Wipe Clean Workbook: Cursive Handwriting

Great for the kids they love them

Great buy! I homeschool and tbh cursive is not my priority. But my 8 year old is essentially teaching herself to write in cursive from this book. The 5 year old ALSO wants her turn with it too. I am such a fan of dry erase books for handwriting. My kids never liked official writing paper to practice handwriting. But dry erase is fun, and reuseable!

I bought this as a gift for a 7 year old. She was excited to receive it and began practicing on the spot. It's a very nice book with wipe clean pages. It comes with an erasable pen, but I followed the advice of other reviewers and replaced it with Expo Erasable Markers. Cursive Handwriting is a 'rite of passage' toward adulthood for children. I think we've seen enough of "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America" (Amazon carries multiple books on this subject) to realize this is not working out for us. Education needs to be more than focusing on standardized test scores. As for the contents of the book, the letters are not all formed the way most people were taught decades ago based on the standard cursive alphabet displayed in grade schools. For example, on lower case letters such as a, c, g, o--this book shows an upward beginning stroke from the baseline vs starting at the rounded portion. Lower case r & s do not have the sharp peak at the top of the initial upward stroke. Many upper case letters lack the beginning loops and/or beginning strokes taught in the past. That being said, it's a very 'clean' version of cursive and will get the job done. Kids will be able to learn cursive and thus be able to read documents, letters, sign their signature and such.

I agree with other reviewers that this needs to be cleaned ASAP after writing. Although it is technically a dry erase book if the writing is not erased quickly it leaves black ink traces on the book. Other than this one problem, this is a great book and my daughter uses it to practice cursive and reenforce what we have learned.

My oldest got into trying to write in cursive . There are very few books that keep the grey to trace .

I love it especially since they don’t teach cursive in school no more 3 weeks an my son can write in cursive an u can read it I love that it’s reusable

When my daughter started at a Montessori school, she started to learn cursive writing. We bought this so she could practice at home! Great practice pages that have her practice letters individually, plus putting letters together in short words and sentences. The pages are easy to clean and has held up really well the last 2 months.

Perfecto para practicar la escritura de los niños, el único detalle es el plumón que nos llegó abierto y se secó muy rápido , pero la verdad es que usar un plumón para pizarrón blanco es muchísima mejor opción y no mancha para nada al momento de borrar (el plumón que incluye si dejaba algunas manchas). En general es muy buen libro para practicar una y otra vez.

One of the best brands, what I like the most about these books is the fact it’s spiral bound and my son isn’t constantly frustrated by pushing the book spine down like in many of these type books. Great size and comes with own pen. Pages are really really easy to wipe and do not stain at all. Really high quality and definitely recommended. Perfect for practicing cursive handwriting!

Amazing rewritable workbook. This is the second wipe clean workbook I have purchased. Liddy learning did a great job with this product! It has the following g types of pages: trace pattern into page, movement practice, letter placement, practices pages with similar shaped letters, joining letters (word) together pages, uppercase letter tracing pages (A-Z), more word/name practise pages, days of the week & a sentence copying page. The very last 2 pages are awesome as well a lined & a blank page to practise whatever your kiddo likes. I recommend this book! I bought one for my kids & a nephew (since handwriting is no longer used in schools & my child showed interest I learning).

Mi hijo entra a primaria en agosto y por la cuarentena no tiene el mismo tiempo de práctica que en salón. Para que no se atrasada se lo compré. Le gusta que sea con marcador, y hace una o dos hojas por diversión cuando lo vé. Osea, que le gusta a pesar de ser de trabajo. Yo con eso, me doy por bien servida. En general la calidad y construcción del libro y el material interno, me parece muy bueno.
