Garbage. Simply garbage. Produced decent product -until it failed. Unit no longer powers on. Stick with stove top manual machines. Also there are no reusable pods for this.

I could not get this machine to make coffee without heavy in grounds, cleaned machine, used different pods, always heavy in grounds.

Don't waste your money. This thing didn't work. Returned it

This is by far the best espresso you will ever taste. I have previosuly used $2500 Saeco coffeemachines, as well as your run of the mill Tassimo brewer and the old school stove top espresso maker. I was craving a really tasty espresso and reserached my heart out. I was very skeptical when I came across this machine, especially at this price point. But I took a chance and boy am I ever glad that I did. The machine itself is very appealing to they eye and takes up very little counter space. It is super easy to use: 1 push for an espresso, 2 pushes for a lungo. The Martello brand coffee pods are BY FAR the best espresso I have ever tasted. I ordered 5 varieties, from medium intensity all the way up to a very intense Notte Siciliana blend. The smell ialone from opening the vacuum sealed packaging is enough to make a coffee lover swoon. The coffee brews quickly, quietly, and most importantly, it is delicious. Dark, rich, and creamy. I have had the machine a few days now and have made various cup sizes as well as lattes. Absolutely no complaints. The only thing left to see is the durability of the machine. I picked up a 2-year warranty for an extra few dollars so I'm not too concerned with that. Definitely a great buy. You won't be disappointed.

These machines were on sale at a WalMart for $50 CAD, down from $99, so I bought a white one and 3 different kinds of capsules for it. The capsules are also a brgain at $4.78 for a pack of 10. I filled the tank, turned it on and wanted to rinse the machine as per the instructions. The machine was defective, it started leaking water from underneath, so I unplugged it to prevent a shock and went back to exchange. They didn't have another white one in stock, so I got a black one instead, it was shiny piano black, which looked just as good as the white one. I rinsed it throughly, and everything worked well, but when I put a decaffeinated capsule in for a lungo, it only made a short espresso. I pressed the button once more, to get another shot from the same capsule, it made the noise as if it was pumping but nothing was coming out, only a few small drops. I tried 3 other capsules, they all had the same issue, though, when I tried a regular caffeinated capsule it flowed better, never the less the second shot was always just a few drops of coffee, I was not able to make a long espresso. I returned the second machine for an exchange and the 3rd one seemed to have a better pressure and filled a short one quicker but I was still unable to get a long one by pressing the button twice as per the instructions. It feels like the grinds inside the capsule swell and doesn't let the water flow for a second shot. I have returned the 3rd one for a refund as well, though I really liked the look of it and the price tag was so attractive. It might work for you if you will be only using it for a short espresso, capuccino or latte where you will only need one shot of coffee.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!! I bought this and did not know what to expect. It's a fantastic compact easy to use espresso machine....No mess like those expensive machines/no coffee to fill and no grinds to clean out. Uses pods and I have these as well. The coffee tastes like those expensive espresso makers at a fraction of the price! Great bang for your buck!! The delivery on this item was fast....Thank you Wholesalecanada for this product!!

It was an ok machine for the first two weeks, but then it stopped working.

Couldn't find a way to contact Martello and there's nothing related in the FAQ or Troubleshooting guides on their site. This unit vibrates so hard it shakes the coffee cup right off the stand if I don't hold it in place. I followed the instructions in the manual for priming the pump. Am I missing something here?
