We had a yogurt maker years ago and for some reason we stopped. I wanted to get back to making homemade yogurt again mainly to save money. I ordered the unit (the device that you use to put the yogurt container and hot water) and starter kit, plus I ordered two more containers (that you pour the cold water and yogurt packet into) and different yogurt flavors to try. I am so glad we ordered the extra containers—I can make a batch while we still have some in the refrigerator. The unit is lightweight, but very solid. I was a bit surprised at how good the quality is based on the cost. And the process is so easy. You need cold water, boiling hot water, the yogurt container, yogurt packet, and the unit. The container is well marked and it is very important to put the temperature strip on the container! Pour the cold water into the container, check the temperature, if it’s correct, add the packet, cover and shake really well. Open it back up and add cold water to the top, cover and shake really well. In the meantime, you will be heating up water, bringing it to a really good boil. Fill the unit with hot water to the correct level—make sure to get any air bubbles out (that will make sense when you see it). Put the container in, close it up and let it sit for 8-12 hours on the counter. When time is up, take the container out of the unit, put it in the refrigerator for a few hours and you have some great yogurt. I make the yogurt during the day, put it in the refrigerator in the evening and I have great tasting yogurt in the morning. The process, once you’ve done it, takes very little time. It is truly worth it. We’ve tried just about every flavor and they are all fantastic. As for price, purchasing the plain yogurt is cheaper. The flavored yogurts work out as even or slightly more expensive. However, the taste is incredible. Someone mentioned the sugar content, the plain yogurt nutritional statement shows 0g added sugars. The flavored yogurt varies in sugar content; strawberry has 12g added sugar, and peach has 13g. If you go to the EasiYo website, you can see nutritional information on any of the products. The flavors are all really good. It’s hard to pick out a favorite.

This yogurt is extremely easy to make and the flavor is outstanding. It is one of the creamiest Greek yogurt’s I’ve ever had.

This yogurt is, far and away, the easiest Greek yogurt I've ever made. The taste is better than what I've purchased or made. I am sugar-free and this flavor has no sugar. The texture is smooth and the taste is pleasantly tart. I fermented for about 10 hours, as I like tart yogurt. You can ferment for fewer hours for less tartness. No straining needed and it is as thick as store-bought or any yogurt I've strained for hours! I highly recommend this yogurt! I will definitely reorder to keep a steady supply in the fridge!

This is the best Yogurt you can make at home without a lot of hassle. I was buying this a few years ago and then I had a hard time finding it until I found it on Amazon and I was so glad they had it. Very fast shipping. Thank you
