Good grip
I have purchased three of these products. They are identical except for the length. I first bought a 40" grabber. This length is ideal for reaching under furniture, etc., and to avoid having to stoop over in case your back hurts. But it is too long to use effectively to pick up trash due to inability to place trash in bag in your opposite hand. I therefore recommend the 32" picker if that is what you have in mind. The pickers are sturdy. The claw end is very precise and grasps an item firmly. There are strong magnets on the sides which enables you to pick up stuff easily.. You have to firmly hold the handle end lever to pick up stuff, but it's not much of a problem, and it operates easily for any arthritic hand to use. You can operate it with three fingers. The picker folds in half via release of a clip at the midway point in the shaft. If there was going to be a failure in the product, it would be at that clip. Well, let me tell you what happened with my first 40" picker. I tried to forcefully drag a paper that was stuck under the wheel of a chair. When I did that, I torqued the shaft and broke it. The shaft broke at the clip. The whole thing cracked and crumbled. But the clip never broke. I have confidence in the strength of the clip. You can break the shaft, but not easily. I just over did it. The only thing to consider is the position of the pistol grip to the claw. Some pickers have the claw perpendicular to the pistol handle, but this one is up and down in line to the handle. I personally don't care, but you might have a preference. I rebought my 40" picker and added a 32" picker for yard trash. These pickers are strong, the claws are very precise and uniform, and the pistol grip is easy to operate. There are a couple of ways to hang up the picker, which are by a clip mounted on the shaft and also a molded in plastic loop for a nail, also sturdy. The seller was quick with all deliveries, and the product came as advertised. There are no instructions, but you don't need any.

Outstanding customer service
I received this heavy duty grabber five days ago, and was very impressed. It was sturdy, long enough that I never had to bend over (I’m a week out of spinal surgery), and I loved that it was collapsible. Unfortunately, after four days, it broke. Upon contacting the company, they replied immediately, offering to refund or replace the item, so I’m quite pleased. (Since I loved the design, I chose to replace it, figuring it was just a fluke.) They were also very kind, despite my snarky email. For outstanding customer service and compassion (a rarity nowadays), I’m giving them 5 stars. This company is a pleasure to deal with.

Leaves a lot to be desired
I got this to help with everyday uses for my wife who has arthritis in their hands. I tested it out myself to see if this would work for them. This is what I found: I was hoping for something that would make grabbing stuff a little easier but this was not it. The grabber requires a decent amount of finger strength to fully engage the grippers so not a good start. Made of pretty flimsy feeling plastic so I’m not sure how long it will last. The tips of the grippers are slanted outwards and don’t fully clasp shut together so this makes it harder to pick up anything that you’d need more precision to pick up, like dropped coins or sheets of paper. (See pic) I tested it out with a single key to see how long it would take to pick up. Took me a few tries to get it but I’m sure for people with limited mobility in their hands, it will be a lot harder to do this with. (See video) I do like the ability to fold it up and the included arm hook for neat and space saving storage. It also is fairly easy to rotate the head to fit into different areas you might need to reach, like under a dresser. The lever to lock the arm in position is easy enough to maneuver and I do like the silicone grip, as it helps to keep things more secure, but I wish the tips fully shut to make better use of them - a design flaw that will hopefully be adjusted in the next model. It can hold empty soda cans and water bottles decently well but this grabber leaves a lot to be desired. I also find I need to hold the arm up with one hand when picking up heavier items as it feels like the arm is straining under the weight. Not a good sign for long term use. All in all, it’s a fair grabber for basic uses like picking up empty cans and bottles but don’t expect much more out of it than this. I don’t recommend this for anyone with limited mobility in their hands.

Good value for money works great
I had ordered another product from a medical supply company. But it wasn't to be shipped soon enough, so I ordered this and even though it was cheaper than the other product, this is superior. I really like the handle. It's very ergonomic. Picks up small things, LIKE PAPER, PENCILS really well. I was pleasantly surprised on its functionality and quality. IT'S 32 INCHES LONG. SO YOU MAY WANT SOMETHING A LITTLE LONGER. FOR ME IT WORKS FINE. IT MAKES IT EASY TO PICK OFF UP FROM THE FLOOR AND THEN PLONK ITEM IN A GROCERY BAG OR SOMETHING. Yes I would buy this again.

Strong and Convenient
I got this set for my mom and me. We're both seniors and I have mobility issues. It's been hard to pick up things from the floor and off of shelves. We had bought a grabber once before but it was very flimsy and too short. These grabbers are heavy duty and long. I can pick up most anything from the floor. The magnets are great for metal crochet hooks and sewing pins. We can even pass the TV clicker and snack bags back and forth in the living room. We can also take one to the grocery store for those cereal boxes and such on the upper shelf - there's never anyone around to help. I have to use a rollator or wheelchair when my hips or knees are out, so they are really great if you have mobility issues.

Very sturdy
These are great, very sturdy, easy to use, and so helpful as I enter my 70s with severe arthritis. I have purchased this brand before and it's still in perfect condition, so when I needed a couple more for a different room and to help me in the garden, I turned t EZPIK again. Very happy with them.

Grippers
Awesome grippers, long boom grippers for the far away items, very effective, and portable, size is perfect, and worth the money.

Fave brand but...
My favourite brand for grabber tools - easiest and comfiest trigger/handle for me, someone who has sensory and pain and weak muscle difficulties. The grabber I had before this had a nice flashlight feature but the big several-ridge/bump "ergonomic" style trigger/handle hurts my hand no matter how I tried to hold it (and is a common style) AND was so much harder to squeeze which also made it hurt worse and caused worse hand fatigue much faster. HUGE improvement with this style and brand. I bought this when I was living in an RV, and unfortunately both this and the other one broke where they fold during that time. One would have been fine if I didn't leave it unfolded in that very shakey and cramped situation I think, and the other, I think the EZPIK, broke pretty quickly when my dad tried to get and something far under my bed. It was incredibly disappointing, but I actually think it was a fluke. They have either improved their design and/or haven't had any issues yet with my new ones cause I'm no longer in an RV. (And will use old one for under bed just in case. 😝) Even with the break, we just taped it up and kept using it luckily and being home bound and in a house not on wheels now, I can more easily just leave them unfolded, which I prefer. I worry a little about potential snaps if they fall in general or from earthquakes but once they're all on hooks that'll be less of a worry. For the one I do leave folded sometimes since it's cramped space, hung by my toilet, I like that the grabber isn't touching the handle when folded up cause I'm germaphobic and use it to pick up trash from floor and push down trash in the cans to make space. It just has to be facing vertically. I never knew how to rotate the claw but kinda sorta figured it out recently -- hold the trigger down then you can move it? Didn't remember that I'd gotten 40 inch one before, have lost that first one. But I want to get another. It may also be more fragile when they are extra long, but the 36" ones have two folds and been working well with no issue. I'm 5'6" (and my parents are shorter and taller than me and all have back pain amongst other things that make it hard to bend) and 36" works pretty well for all of us -- works well for me both sitting and standing, reaching up to high shelves and down to floor (and across the room somewhat but 40+ inch could be more useful for that for even farther range.) I can pick up small bits of debris/trash instead of sweeping or vacuuming or squatting) bending/touching floor which is fantastic. I struggled to pick up a thin cardboard thing but was and to do it when i held down one end with my foot! I can pick up a lot of products in the bathroom and kitchen. I struggle to pick up heavy things with it -- a comfy material over some of the pole would be a nice improvement for when I need to add more support and shift weight with my other hand to get heavier stuff -- and also a lock feature would be incredibly helpful for that and in general. I've only seen lock feature on one brand in here and it can scrape your hand so it looks bad and hope more brands add this feature in the future. And would love if they sold different colours and ones with more coloura instead of mostly silver and black!

Veratile, strong and well designed
I love this set of 2 litter pickers. They have clearly been designed carefully and can be used for lots of things. They can certainly be used for picking up litter - we ordered them for picking up the rubbish that sometimes blows or is thrown into our garden, but they can also be used to pick up small items that have fallen into awkward places that are hard to get to without moving furniture and to pick up items that are out of reach. These must be fantastic for people who find bending down difficult. Each picker is light but strong - we just tried lifting and bringing down quite a large bag of rice, with no problem at all. They are magnetic and so it is easy to pick up things like paper clips and batteries that have been dropped. The pickers can have a small flash light attached to see into dark corners or to use in the dark, and they fold easily into half size for easy storage. Very impressed with the quality and value

Great for hard to reach places and useful post surgery tool.
Great stick for picking up shoes and other objects. Great for picking up items that have fallen behind cupboards too. I bought to use post hip surgery but continue to use for picking up items from hard to reach places. Well made and sturdy. Highly recommended.
