I bought this strain of Lactobacillus coagulans to help with constipation & depression. I a very pleased to experience this strain of lactobacilli coagulans has been noticably helpful with both.

Clinically tested for improved gut health. Would recommend. Does not need refridgeration.

I bought this to make yogurt from Dr. Davis's recipe in "Supergut." I used organic A2 whole milk with Anthony's organic potato starch which is what I've been using every week for over one year to make L. Reuteri and L. Gasseri yogurt (separate batches since they require different temperatures). This B. Coagulans from AFI must be dead because the milk just formed into clumps of curds and they, and was very stinky. I sent a message to the seller and when they hadn't replied after a few days I contacted Amazon and they refunded the cost.

I don't think I do well with reuteri or rhamnosus so I will stick to Bacillus Coagulan. I miss the old Source Natural Dura Flora Bacillus Coagulan and this product is very similar. I didn't have any side effects and it works well.

If you have histamine intolerance work up to the full dose or you will have hives for daysss.

This is the only pro-biotic I would buy due to it being the only one with research trials that demonstrate its efficacy, another benefit is this is spore based, so no need to refrigerate to keep it alive and it get where it needs to go in the body without being destroyed in digestion. The main thing I noticed is that I sleep extremely well after about 2 weeks of taking it, and avoid taking it during the day as it now will make me sleepy.
