Great on pavement and light gravel/crushed stone
I love these tires. I have an older 2009 Giant OCR-1 with 25mm road slicks. Last fall, I was going on a group ride on the Katy Trail in central MO, which is a crushed gravel trail. I don’t have much room with the narrow clearance forks and frame on that bike, so I ordered these tires in 28mm. They do run narrow. They were basically the same as the 25mm I had on it, but even in that very narrow width, they killed it on the Katy trail. I had good traction and no issues on two full days of riding. doing 50 miles each day. And with the center rib, they are fast and smooth on pavement. I don’t really notice a performance difference compared to the smooth road tires I was running. I just bought a new Cannondale Synapse 1 last month, which came with 30mm road tires and has plenty of clearance to get wider. I'm on Amazon right now buying a set of these Ride Tour tires in 32mm to put on it. If you like riding on paved roads and light gravel, these have been a great all-around tire for me.

reliable
reliability at a very affordable price...these conties are a great tire. I have a set of the great tires on my surly troll so I have subjected these tires to to some loaded tours and 30 daily miles of commuting and they are a great rolling tire that provides great confidence on the rain and have great flat protection ( but I did add some Mr Tuff tire liners) and are very flat resistant. They are easy to put on and off and if you rotate them, they will last for very while. To put on the rims these tires are a breeze. Buy with confidence, these are very stout tires that roll really nice, have great grip in the rain and give the rider a huge sense of security and confidence

Great all around tires, they do mount small
I bought three sets of these so far, and they worked well for my purposes. Pros: - Rolling quiet on all surfaces. I ride on pavements, bike trails with crushed limestone, and dirt roads with loose gravels - Smooth on the pavement with low rolling resistance - I had about 1,000 miles on one set with no flat, and they wear very well, I think they will last another 2,000 miles, maybe more if I rotated them - They look awesome and are very economical solution for us normal person who just like to be out riding Cons: (but not all that bad though) - They are heavy, so to get them going takes more time - Cornering sensation was a bit strange when I first rode them, but now it's either wearing off or I got use to it - Being heavier tires, they are not particularly difficult in climbing, but riding into the wind is slow - In narrower tires, they are a little more work to mount or take off (referring to the set of 27" x 1 1/4 and 700C x 32mm), I did have to use my trusty metal tire levers, and the Park Tool blue plastic ones won't work. The 700C x 42mm are much easier. No tool required, all hands without white knuckles Important things to remember: they do mount smaller than their stated sizes. Here are some measurements for your reference: height measurement is from outer edge of the rim to the outer profile of the tire For 700C x 32 on a 700c 13mm rim: width 26.5mm x height 27mm 700c 15mm rim: width 27.5mm x height 27mm For 27" x 1 1/4 on 27" wheel (mine are 80's Miyata Gran Tour's Araya rims): width 28mm x height 27mm For 700C x 42 on a 700c 18mm rim: width 36mm x height 36mm Based on these measurements, I would say buy one size up to your original tires, but just for Conti Ride Tour, I have not tried the other models - My Trek 820 can take 700c x 37 tires (a non Conti brand), and it took 700c x 42 Ride Tour with ease - My vintage Bianchi can barely take 700c x 28 tires, but took 700c x 32 Ride Tour ok

Quality tire. Working fine after 7 years.
Great tire. I love the tread on it. Makes me think I could get traction in snow with it, not that I'm going to ride in those conditions. It's smooth rolling. Served my kid well for several years in college and is holding up great about 7 years after buying it.

Great Tires
So far, great tires. Ride well and quiet on the road. One caveat, if these tires are used on a trainer, ensure contact with the tires are disengaged when not riding on the trainer. The metal in the tire will indent and create a bump while riding.

Continental Ride Tour 26" x 1.75"
Excellent ride quality: I noticed right away when I fit these and rode my bike that these are really good tires. I bought them because they were listed for a variety of things: e-bike energy rating, puncture resistance, low rolling resistance, high mileage on street roads, and overall durability and construction of the tire. It was also listed as able to be used TUBELESS, but it's not on the label or tire itself for TUBELESS application so I wouldn't recommend for that... but kinda why I picked these tires was because they were listed for all of the above features plus they were at the time I bought them were listed with a TUBELESS feature. Anyway they are not TUBELESS and DO REQUIRE A TUBE. Something else awesome is they are kinda like a lower profile fit; what I mean is the tires diameter is less and they are thinner fitting than most other tires I've used (just a few types btw). Still noticeably less than I've seen or used myself. I think it's a cool look on my bike and I'd recommend these tires to anyone for these features and look. Thanks Continental!

El neumático es ideal para ciudad por su agarre en frenada. Estoy esperando otro juego para la bici de recambio. ;-) Muy contento.
