Love this product
I purchased this product for a 'classy finishing touch' to my hand painted bedside unit that I created for one of my neighbours. See the attached photos. She loved the finished product. She actually picked up this unit from a 'tip' and after I completed it - instead of it being 'trash' it looked a 'beautiful swan'. This metallic in Pearl White was used on the top and sides of the unit. The product has real metallic particles - so when you use this, you need to keep stirring it so the metallic particles keep being 'mixed' instead of settling on the bottom of the jar. It is low odour and low VOC, quick drying and water based so you can wash your brushes in water, which is great.I highly recommend this product to whoever would like something a bit different to 'jazz' up a piece of furniture they are painting. You can also use this product on walls, trim and ceilings as well as furniture. You will need 2/3 coats, but you will not be disappointed with the outcome.

Gorgeous paint - wrong sheen
I was so excited to receive this paint as it is more expensive than I like to spend. I ordered "snow white" and a light pink water based paint and primer. I was under the impression as it was stated in the q and a that it was semi-opaque. However the paint I received was sheer. It will take several coats to completely cover the picture shows 2 coats. However the paint is extremely beautiful!! Exactly the look I was trying to achieve. I purchased a small bottle to try the paint out before moving to a much larger project. I also used a cheap brush and it did leave brush strokes no matter how much floretrol I used. I'm certain I will purchase again however I will use my paint gun sprayer.

Not really pearl white
I bought this to finish a woodworking project, expecting it to go on smooth and translucent - not unlike the clear acrylic sealer you can get at any home store. This stuff is really not that good and at its price, it's definite a pass.Let me start by explaining how I prepped my work. The wood was sanded smooth with 220 grit paper, primed and then painted with a white lacquer spray paint. They looked great, and had just the right level of white that I wanted. My intention was to finish the project with this pearl metallic to give the project a nice sheen while still maintaining a predominantly white color.I used a brush to apply this paint and it would not level, meaning the ridges that were created by brushing it remained when the paint dried. The paint itself is a "gooey" consistency that does not spread well. You may want to apply a thin layer but you will not be able to because it sticks together, almost like trying to spread bread dough. It will not fill in cracks or crevices in the wood, so you end up with something that looks very unappealing. The actual color of this paint is more of a translucent metallic silver - NOT pearl white. It made my white finish appear gray...so it was quite disappointing. True pearl white makes normal white appear sparkly and changes the shade to slightly off-white, but not silver. You may be able to achieve better results if you thin the paint before applying it, and/or use a sprayer. Compared to cheaper paints available at local home stores and craft stores, I can't say this is any good since it's not the color it claims to be and the quality is substandard.I do not recommend this paint and I would not buy this again.

Pearl white is very sheer
The pearl white is very pretty, but no where in the copy does it say it is sheer coverage. When you receive the paint, the back of the label clearly says sheer, but nowhere in the description does it show the back of the label or mention it is sheer coverage. The silver color I ordered says opaque on the back label and goes on in one coat. The pearl white takes several coats if you want full coverage.
