Great mower for small yards but be sure both batteries are fully charged before mowing.
The price on this battery mower was great and I then I noticed Amazon had a returned mower from which turned out to be a brand new mower without the original box. I chose this mower after watching several UK reviews on Youtube. This version of the mower does not have rear roller and only one cutoff switch on the handle but everything else is about the same. The mower is great for a yard that is no larger than the size of a tennis court. Using this mower, I was able to perform a very short lawn scalp this spring and found the mower to perform as well as my old gas mower at this task. The plastic grass catcher works very good and the mower is able to pick up all the leaves blown over from my neighbor's trees. Emptying the grass catcher is easy and I like that it does not collect dust like a cloth grass catcher. The mower is small, light weight, and very quiet. It is very easy to pick up the mower using the handle attached to the base and carrying it from the front to back yard. The small narrow mower also makes it much easier to store in the garage with the cars. Because the mower is so small, you will have to make more passes than with a wider mower. More steps if you are tracking that. Once again, this mower is good for a small yard but not a larger yard. Changing the mower height adjust is so easy. The mower comes with 2 batteries and one charger. The batteries take 9 hours each to charge so be sure both batteries are charged before starting. The batteries have a indicator so it is easy to check the battery level. Even though my yard is small, it still take both batteries if I want to mow the front, back and side yard on the same day. A lot of this mower is made of plastic which makes it feel like a toy. The wheel covers on the mower keep popping out they but don't come off and don't affect how the wheels roll. After 5 mows, I find this mower to be great for my lawn and it has already paid for itself by not having to go with a lawn service.

Great for mowing under bushes and around flowers
This is a fun little mower. I’ve been needing a tiny one for a long time to use under my many bushes and in tight spaces where larger mowers don’t fit. It’s super light weight and it’s almost like playing with a toy, but it does have a sharp, spinning blade that’s remarkably strong for such a tiny machine. The battery should last around thirty minutes or so if it’s not under too much strain. Maybe twenty minutes in thicker grass. I used it without the basket attached so it wouldn’t have as much weight to carry against battery time. I tested it under lots of bushes with dried leaves around them and it worked better than I expected. It cut weeds easily and even managed to chop a large, thick weed that’s similar to rhubarb. I won’t plan to do that regularly because I don’t want to damage the blade. It also cut a stick that I accidentally ran over. When I ordered this tiny mower, I compared the price of extra batteries with an extra charger to the cost of a larger mower of this same brand that comes with batteries and a charger. For only fifty or so dollars over the cost of just extra batteries and a charger, I was able to get the larger mower set so that I can mow under my bushes and the rest of my yard more easily. Having to struggle with heavy self-propelled gas mowers for decades has been difficult and painful. Using these lightweight battery powered mowers is much easier and they don’t cause me to have excess pain. It’s like walking around with a vacuum, rather than wrestling with a heavy, uncooperative machine. Trying to mow around bushes and flowers with the self-propelled gas type is hard on the back, shoulders and arms. Using this little cutie instead is almost effortless. I can do it with one hand and it fits into more areas. I’ve been able to mow around all my bushes and flowers, plus do a narrow strip of grass that’s separate from the yard, with only one battery. If the grass was extra long or extra thick, it might take some of the second battery. To avoid difficulties, I simply mow more often, like every five days instead of every seven days when the grass is likely to grow faster and thicker. Trying to do this with a gas mower while gas prices are climbing daily would be pretty expensive. I can afford to mow as often as I want with battery powered mowers. The two battery mowers I bought cost less than one gas powered self-propelled mower. I’ll still use my gas one when necessary and I’ll have to use it in areas where neighboring trees continually drop branches, sticks and nuts into my yard. Battery powered mowers can’t handle that stuff. But I can use this one and the 19” one I bought as much as possible to make the job more pleasant and less painful. I’m a senior woman with health conditions that cause severe pain and weakness so anything that helps me get my work done more easily is appreciated. These mowers are quiet enough to hear birds singing while you’re mowing. It’s a great way to get a chore done while walking for exercise. Pushing the mowers is almost effortless. They’re so lightweight that they’re easier to move around than a self-propelled type. The handle on this 13” size is somewhat fragile, so you need to be careful how you hold onto it. Turning corners puts a strain on the part of the handle that keeps the mower running. It helps to practice a little until you get the right hand position that allows you to turn corners without moving that part of the handle. The battery is easy to insert and remove once you get the hang of it. The little key has two prongs which need to be inserted properly so it will run properly. It needs to be pushed in firmly. It takes a tug to remove it. It’s held with a string and you can just make sure you keep it inside the closed section when it’s not being used. I’m able to lift both sizes of mowers that I bought, the 13” and the 19”. There’s a 16” size, too, in case people don’t want the larger or smaller sizes. This brand was recommended for seniors and people with health issues in many of the online articles I read while looking for a decent lightweight mower. For the price, you can’t really go wrong. If you have a bumpy yard like I do, you’ll probably notice the bumps when using these lightweight mowers, but they won’t rattle your entire body like they do with a heavy gas mower. My gas mowers have a tendency to hit me in the mouth or chin with the handle when I have to bend down to mow under low tree branches. The little lightweight kind aren’t likely to do that because I can control them with one hand and not my entire body. And the handles on the lightweight ones are comfortable. You don’t need to strain your arms to use them. These nice lightweight mowers make all the difference in the world.

Perfect for smaller lawns
LawnMaster CLM2413A Cordless 13-Inch Lawn Mower Review Pros: Easy Assembly: Clear instructions make setup quick and hassle-free. Perfect for Small Jobs: Ideal for navigating tight corners and narrow strips of grass. Cordless Convenience: Provides excellent mobility without being tethered to an outlet. Lightweight and Maneuverable: Easy to handle, especially in hard-to-reach areas around flower beds, fences, and other obstacles. Impressive Cut Quality: Leaves a clean, even finish with adjustable height settings for customization. Compact Storage: Takes up minimal space in the garage, making it convenient for those with limited storage. Cons: Battery Life: Adequate for smaller jobs, but larger yards might require a second battery for uninterrupted use. It does come with 2 batteries. Small Cutting Deck: The 13-inch cutting width means more passes are needed for larger areas, which might be less efficient for big lawns. Conclusion: The LawnMaster CLM2413A Cordless 13-Inch Lawn Mower seems a reliable, compact solution for small jobs and hard-to-reach spots that larger mowers can't handle. Its ease of assembly, though the grass catcher is a bit difficult, its lightweight design, and impressive performance make it an excellent addition to any garden tool collection. If you need a mower for tricky areas and smaller lawns, this is a fantastic choice.

Very flimsy and poor battery life
The lawnmower has been quite the disappointment. It was easy to assemble and it is super light weight. The overall quality reminds me of a Barbie lawnmower... If they made them. The overall material is very flimsy. The plastic feels like a laundry basket. This is a good lawnmower for a kid in elementary school learning to cut the grass. It would be good for a small patch of lawn with very limited maintenance needed and count be cut in less than 2 minutes. The lawnmower kept stopping, battery had to get switched out several times because it had a very poor charge and battery life. The grass filled the basket quickly because it's so small. I found it annoying that grass was not picked up by the lawnmower and I had to go back and rake it up. What would normally take me 10-15 minutes to cut the grass with my gas lawnmower, took me several hours because the battery kept dying, grass getting stuck in the blades and frequently empty the basket that catches the cut grass. Tomorrow I'm going to finish the other side of my yard so hopefully the battery chargers better overnight. So far I hate the lawnmower and there's a 90% chance of me returning it. I definitely would not recommend buying it. After charging the battery overnight it was still a complete fail. The lawnmower battery kept dying despite an overnight charge. it didn't last longer than maybe 2 to 4 minutes and even though the battery showed a full charge it still wasn't working. It was more frustrating than anything using it and it's a big piece of junk. I could have cut the grass faster with a pair of scissors. I will be returning it.

Works really well.
We bought this last summer and it still holds up well. It comes with two batteries. We are able to mow most of our yard (in a mobile home park) before having to switch the batteries. It cuts really well and isn't very loud. You do have to empty the bucket often if you use it. Very easy to use. If super thick or wet it will automatically shut off. Overall good product for the cost.

Decent but poor battery life
This item was very easy to assemble. Very light weight and pretty ready to use. The major con for me was the battery! It came with 2 but they only lasted 15 min. I have a small from yard and small back yard. I wasn't even able to complete the back yard with both batteries. That's NOT good for me. This item was a great buy but if the battery doesn't last it's useless for me. I love that I don't have to smell gas or leave to purchase or even try to store it if I purchase too much. Again, very easy to assemble, easy to store but not for me. I wiped out down and put it in the box to return. Easy to clean with a broom and water hose

Works great!!
The mower arrived in a smallish box, which was surprising to me, but the mower is still a good sized mower. The mower itself was very lightweight and the instructions were very easy to understand is putting the handle together and preparing the mower for use. I charged the batteries for their first use as per the instructions and they were ready to go quickly. I was able to mow my front yard and quite a large portion of my back yard with one battery and was able to almost finish my larger back yard with the other battery. I did allow the batteries to cool down prior to charging and they recharged quickly. I bought an extra battery and with all 3 I am able to completely mow my whole yard. I do like the bagger and the easy way to take it off and empty it as needed. The mower is very quiet and easy to push for me. It is small and compact, but you never feel that it is cheaply constructed. I feel it is a good quality mower for the money. I suggest that for the life of the batteries and mower in general that using in the later part of the day keeps it from getting too hot and the batteries seem to last longer than when used in the heat of the day. All in all it is great mower and well worth the money.

It is small but that can be a good thing.
Have a very small lawn I built up from nothing last fall. The whole nine yards, had someone till it, brought in soil, did the leveling after planning slope, ended up with a very nice plane that drained well over lots of pac nw rainfall this winter. It was an enormous amount of work to do right and so obviously I care about this being nice now. I will pick up pine cones or stray leaves like it’s some holy site. I had been using an old corded mower I was gifted with no grass clipping catcher and that had been awful, as no outlets in the back of this place yet and having to rake clippings. It was big and heavy. I’d tried a manual mower. I borrowed one and spent time tuning it up but those too generally don’t catch clippings and it was just not worth it. So, I decided to try this after specifically not spending $450 for an “actually good” mower for our tiny lawn. I’m only one mow in but I am very pleased with this toy of a tool. The thing is small, and the handle is a little cheap, but I was very happy with the performance. I did not bother charging the battery, I just slapped it in and gave it a go. The lawn was in deep need and I didn’t want to wait through another rain spell. The only part of this I did not understand is below the battery. There is a bubble wrapped part and I thought it was part of the packaging. I pulled at it for a bit and realized maybe it’s supposed to stay in there. It seemed like something that aught to have another plastic part covering it. Anyhow, I’m a bit concerned about the lion batteries just cause I don’t know the quality of assembly, but they may be just fine. I’ll post an update in 3, 6 and end of next season on how this thing hangs in there. I did wipe out the mower cutting area after I was done. It only took a minute or two and I figured this thing will probably need to be taken care of more than a fancy one. I’ll be storing it in doors when not in use.

Lightweight and very economical.
Works great. Batteries last fairly long. Lightweight. Very easy to unload cut grass and really like the mulching. Would definitely recommend this purchase.

Light, easy to maneuver and does a good job. Having 2 batteries is great!

Cutting Blade
Like the weight and comfort probably better with 14" to 16" blade as had to recharge when 80% done. Good machine though it does a good cut.
