After I wash my hair and dry it I take a little bit of the products and rub it very hard and just apply it to my hair roots and it puffs up or makes your hair look thicker and hold is great. It's a product that is longevity mine lasted almost a year. There really is not a scent which is good value for the money and functionality and softness is a huge Plus. The product is not sticky just gives your hair more volume and when you sleep and get up the next morning it's very easy to achieve the look that you want without rewashing and blow drying. After I applied the products I spray my hair with a texturizer spray and I'm done for the day. Easy peasy I recommend this but give it time to get used to it and the many ways it works. This is my third order and I just love the functionality.

I used this gel many years ago - and decided to give it another try. It works well - and doesn't leave your hair sticky or matted. Sometimes the oldies are the goodies. One problem: Too expensive (for a gel).

I learned about this at the salon and it really works. It's very thick though and sticky.

I was using Lanza curl cream, but I bought this by accident. I’m glad I tried it instead of sending it back because it works better for my hair than the styling cream. I wonder if some of the reviews that mention the color/texture/scent being different made the same mistake I did? The packaging is exactly the same except for the word ‘texture’ is there instead of just ‘curl cream.’ Also, it’s important to only use a small amount and rub it between your hands before applying it to wet hair. After applying it evenly all over I use a wide toothed detangling comb, and I apply Ouidad gel before using a microfiber towel to carefully scrunch out the excess water. Then I air dry or use a diffuser. This product reactivates very well when misted with water for to freshen ‘next day’ hair.Anyway, the curl cream is best for my daughter’s loose waves, but this product is best for my ringlets that tend to loose their shape and frizz quickly after drying. Also, my hair has thinned out a LOT from stress and heart medication, and this adds volume. I love it!

Great smell, texture, and a small amount will go far.

I have a pixie cut and have tried all sorts of waxes, pomades, powders, etc. Most make my hair feel gross (sticky), has a matte finish or adds flakes. This gel leaves my hair shiny and has a very strong hold. I need that bc my hair is very thick & straight. I think it’s intended for men’s hair? but I don’t care. I love the smell and performance. Does the trick and I don’t have to mess with my hair all day.

Use sparingly. For your first use, use a small amount, then add small amounts until your hair has the texture you like. I've used this product for about 10 years and have no plans to try anything else.

Absolutely fantastic product.This has given my fine hair extra body and structure.Even on an absolutely horrendous morning of torrential rain and high winds and with my hood up, when I returned from my 45 minute super quick dog walk, on removing the hood I could barely believe how well my hair remained styled, which, I hasten to add, is not the norm.Cannot fault this gel. I am a great fan of L'anza hair care products.
