These are the ones to buy
I'm doing paint and rust removal on an old atv. At first I tried a variety of round, cup, and these I'll call burrs. Learned quickly that speed and control were important. Regardless you are going to be pelted with strands of wire flying at the speed of ouch. Don't wear a sweatshirt, trust me. It feels like a cactus hug.The round and cup had a short life, but the burrs could last much longer and actually performed better with use. So I stocked up on these. Suggestion to Dremel users. I have a 4000 with variable speed. I start the speed at ~12. After some wear it will develop a point. Then I can increase to 25, avoid punching the tip directly, always at an angle.Good luck in your project

Fit right in my rotary tool.
Worked great. A lot of brushes for the money. Thanks for a great product.

Good sturdy brush.
I’m using these to clean and repair carbon build-up from butane fueled ignition. Nothing powered but manual brushing and cleaning before the chemical and cotton application. Very effective.

Be careful of RPM speed
I restore antique hand tools as a hobby and use a lot of different wire brushes/wheels on my variable speed rotary tool (similar to Dremel) to clean out rust and debris. I've learned from experience to use these at a low speed. At high speeds they don't last and the wires can fly out. Hint: WEAR EYE PROTECTION. I've learned to apply thin CA (super) glue at the base of the wires to help keep them affixed to the bit - not a perfect solution, but it helps. For these wire brushes, I don't like the way the wires fan out at speed, so on each bit I used a short length of shrink tubing over the tip, keeping only about 1/4 inch or less of exposed wire at the end. When shrunk tightly over the wires, the tubing keeps the wires bundled together at speed (using the lowest speed on my rotary tool) to concentrate the "wire brushing" action in a small area, and also helps to keep the little wires from flying out of the bit. These seem to be a good value for the money when used carefully. Note: one of the bits in my package had no wire brush at the end of the bit, so there were actually 19 usable bits.

Good - for the money
Thanks for the suggestions to keep from spreading. Be careful that the shank diameter is actually more like 2.95/6 mm. My collet requires 3mm so will need some mods.
