I was looking for a versatile converter as I travel a lot. Not only a simple one, that can be used with my hair styling brush and also my devices. I traveled to the Netherlands and I was very pleased with my purchase. As it did the job excellent. Was a very good value for the money, the power capability was excellent converted my items from the US to Europe very easily. Also has a carrying bag that makes it easy to carry around

I mainly use this converter in USA for heated upholstery purchased in China. Before purchasing this unit, I was really skeptical about the product as I had two failure experiences for other converters. I asked a few questions about the convert and the seller provided prompt responses and convinced me it’s a high standard product. After receiving it, I immediately open it and tried it. It’s easy to use as included product description/instruction is clear and it works like a charm. The converter itself is not heated up at all after 1- hour usage for my heated upholstery, not like other converters I had before already blew up after 30 minutes usage. With additional adapters for Europe country, long durability of main convert, reasonable price and nice custom service, this product is worth your attention if you shop around the convert.

I purchased the converter so I could use my hair straightener while on vacation. I read the reviews and instructions and my straightener was compatible with the converter. When I plugged in the straightener to the converter the plastic of the straightener where you place your hand became extremely hot and smelled of burning plastic. I unplugged the straightener and converter immediately. The converter continued to work but my straightener will no longer work. The converter worked with the blow dryer but you had to use the low setting and even on that setting the dryer got really hot. The converter worked fine charging phones. I tried to reach out to the customer service email provided on their website and received a kickback that the email could not be delivered. Over all I'm pretty disappointed in the item and will return it on Amazon. I was hoping to email the customer service team of the converter to see if there is coverage for the straightener since it was a newer tool and not cheap.

With the shaver I could only use it for three minutes until the machine burned. after this when I connected the adapter with the phones you could hear a short circuit noise and a burning smell. do not use this adapter anymore for fear ah that it will burn the phones or the hotel

Alright I never write reviews but this thing is SO good, so here we go… I did a lot of research online before choosing this product. I was looking for a converter that would work properly/wouldn’t blow up/destroy my expensive blow dryer while I was away in Europe.. for reference I currently use the Curlsmith defrizzion hair dryer. I’ve travelled a lot over the years and have had awful experiences with crappy converters ruining my expensive beauty tools. Thankfully, that has finally come to an end! This thing worked FLAWLESSLY for over a month of traveling between different hotels and airbnbs in Portugal, France, Monaco, and the Netherlands. If your main reason for purchase is to use this with a blow dryer, look no further. Just make sure you use the “converter” outlet, and not the “adapter” outlet for certain fancier tools. Check devices wattage/type etc, use it properly, and you should be good to go. The only downside is that I had to prop up the converter with something (chair, books etc) when it was plugged into the wall, because it can’t really hold itself up when a heavier cable is plugged into it. The adapters are kinda flimsy when connected, but that annoyance was a small price to pay in order to use my beloved hair dryer while abroad. If you aren’t sure which converter to go with, let me save you the hassle of worrying and researching… just BUY THIS ONE.

Yes, the shaver is 10 w, and as you said it dose not work with the converter. I tried it with the adapter 100 - 240 V but it cause the trimmer to vibrate violently which indicate the adapter is given much higher than 110 V required by the trimmer/shaver (WAHEL SUPPER TAPPER II). Maybe I did not pay attention to the wattage minimum requirements. I therefor decline to accept your offer to replace free of charge. Thank you for the explanation. I’m not sure sure how I feel about this purchase. I used this for my trip to Italy. Some outlets it fit in, some it didn’t. It worked on my blow dryer (I bought a cheap one because I was too nervous to test out my expensive dryer) but the power was noticeably reduced. It fried my curling wand, so that’s shot and now I have to replace it. It worked fine with my straightener. The usb plugs were a nice feature.. but the overall unit is incredibly bulky and it dangles off the outlet. I gave it 3 stars because it does work on some products, but not on all. I would prefer if the adapters were built into the unit instead of carrying around separate pieces. You have to really push them in hard and they still don’t feel like they’re in properly.
