I love my new shaving brush. It replaced one I used for many years, which in turn, replaced one used by my grandfather. Not many men today use a shaving brush and soap. That is a pity. I find this old-school method far superior to shaving cream, and it's far cheaper. I'll enjoy this brush for many years to come.

I have a $60 brush in my list waiting to be bought when I stumbled across this item a little over a year ago. I wasn't sure what to expect from a shave brush that was a little under $10 as I was new to DE shaving at the time. But man has this little brush surprised me! I use it on average twice a week anymore as I've grown out my beard and yes I've lost a bristle here or there (which is to be expected) but this lathers well, applies well, and has a genuinely nice look and feel to it. If/when this brush finally dies or the knot becomes un-tethered and not usable anymore I will definitely purchase this product again.

Nice brush. Soaked prior to use. Soft and makes a good later. AS others have commented there is a mild smell to it, but I soaked it and it resolved. So far no major loss of hairs (a few, but nothing extreme). Would recommend for purchase to others.

I'm not sure that I can say this is 100% pure badger hair as there seems to be a few very stiff and sharp hairs in the mix. Except for that, this is better than the expensive one that fell apart after a few years of use.

Great brush for $10. I tried it and liked it a lot. Holds water , not too big (if you have a very big face buy a bigger brush) quality hair, great bargain

It works fine but does shed the hairs quite a bit. At the price point it’s still a good buy.

Been using a mug and brush since 1967 - yup, geezer - and it has good bore bristles for softening my beard.

Bristles fall out, and the hair is too soft to make a lather. When you wet the brush it just falls over like a rag. Don’t waste your money. Cheap!

アナグマの毛を使っているだけあって最初は獣臭が凄いですがこうゆう物はアク抜きが必須です。1〜2週間は使わない時は石鹸水などにひたしておくと大方臭いが抜けます

It makes a much better lather of the shaving cream than I could make using just my hand. It does have a pungent smell in the beginning. I let it soak in hot water mixed with shampoo for 30 minutes, then rinsed it. I repeated this process 2 more times, and the smell was gone. It didn't shed that many hairs, about 3 in my first use, which is good. It holds water very well. It is nice and soft on my face.
