Just what I needed. My Snip-n-Drip soaker hose had a run in with the lawnmower and was cut in two. The leaky nature of the hose meant that even tape meant for repairing hoses wouldn't be able to splice it back together, so I just joined the pieces together with one of these couplers and everything worked again. This irrigation system has worked wonderfully so far - it's good to know that I have the supplies to add some more length to the hose if I need to. You're probably more likely to get sales and discounts on the Gardner's Supply website itself rather than through Amazon, though.

Great drip hose connectors

These couplers are very easy to use and connect to the 1/2" soaker hose or standard hose. I was able to make several loops with these and only water where the plants are, and not the surrounding rocks. Just make sure you push the hoses in as far and firmly as you can, so they seat completely against the plastic flange. Try not to get too frustrated as you forget to put the lock nut on first, then start connecting them... and then disconnecting them to put it together correctly (happened to me several times).

Worked perfect! I used these to add small sections of soaker hose for several raspberry plants on a line that was nearing the max amount of soaker hose that my water pressure could handle. Had I just added a big section of soaker hose, the water pressure never would have been enough. But thanks to these little gems, I was able add a few tiny sections to keep my new raspberry plants happy.

Every year my raised garden beds expands and every year I end up having to plan a new irrigation layout. These things are an absolute MUST in my garden tool box. They enable me to cut hoses to size and connect new sections of soaker hoses for my beds. I would literally be lost if I didn't have these things on hand. It is a shame that you don't have them on the Amazon Subscribe section because I would happily have it set up for every 6 months. These are going to be a big part when I get around to building my green house.

These couplers used to work perfectly. The couplers I purchased from 5 years ago are still holding strong. I recently ordered 2 additional packs and the new couplers don’t work at all. They do not tighten enough around the hose to keep the water from leaking. I tightened the couples all the way to the end of the thread and water was still flowing out from around the hose and the coupler, like there was no grip on the hose. It was a total waste of money.
