I love this little helmet light for my dusk/night riding. It is small and lightweight. It effortlessly clips into my helmet and stays charged for at least two hour long bike rides. I wouldn’t use this as my only light source, because the beam is feather wide. It makes me more visible to oncoming traffic and it is an excellent secondary light source for my night rides. I use this in tandem with a small light mounted to my handle bars and that is the perfect amount of light. I love the flashing red light in the back. It makes me feel more visible to traffic when I am riding at dusk or in the absolute dark.

I am using this light on my commute from Bainbridge Island to Seattle. I have received compliments for its visibility in broad daylight. The light is meant to be seen, not to provide illumination. It is easy to mount and has a very intuitive interface with many lighting options. A cool feature is that it remembers last option used. Only trouble I have had is with charging it (which it needs very infrequently). After only a few charges, the receptacle in the light for the USB charger in the light became dislodged and I could no longer charge the light - this may have been operator error (perhaps not being gentle enough inserting the charger into the light). Even though it was months past my purchase, and past the return date, I was impressed that I was sent a new light all the way from England, from the engineer himself! That's customer service! I recommend this light very highly - just be gentle charging it.

I use this on top of my helmet so that drivers can see me when I ride under trees in the shade or mornings/evenings. I'm glad that they give two different mounts. I started with it one way, but it put the light too far forward and when I ride my head is angled wrong. So I switched to the other mount and placed it further back and the beams are now correctly pointed when I ride. Big plus for easy mounting and many choices. You could put this on a handlebar or maybe on a seat post if you wanted to. Another big plus for light weight - you can hardly notice it on your helmet. I can feel the rubber mounting strap when I put my helmet on. It's not as comfortable as my helmet with out it but after a while I'm used to it. It's a great "be seen" light and only a modest "see things" light. But if I get caught out after dark, it's enough if I keep the speed down. The cable has a special end with a longer metal part sticking out so that it will engage. It charges fine and the battery life is what I expected. Why 4 stars and not 5? The mild loss of comfort. No big deal, but not perfect and might not affect you. The special cable. It's *almost* a regular USB cable but not quite. It's really easy to charge - USB is the right choice - but I have to make sure that I don't lose the special cable.

I purchased this item to put on my helmet so I could see at night while cycling. I can see 6ft around me easily with no issues. The light is bright and very light weight. It’s small, easy to install and I’m pleased with the quality. The light appears to be well made and I’m happy there is a white light on the front and a red light behind. Drivers can see me from miles away.

Works great to help cars see you but does not give out much light to see the road

This light is fine but has problems. The brightness is excellent, and I like the way it looks and feels. I also appreciate the flexibility of mounting options. But it also has problems that lead me to not recommend this light highly. The biggest one is battery life; if you are using this for evening riding every day, you are probably going to need to charge it every day or two. I don't think I get more than about an hour of usage out of it on a full charge. Second, it the light pops out of the mount a little too easily. It feels pretty secure when you snap it in, but I have had it knocked out when ducking under branches on multiple occasions. Third, the last small thing is that I find placement of the USB port frustrating. It makes it difficult/fussy (but not impossible) to charge without removing the light from the helmet. Removing the light is easy but my preference is to charge it on the helmet so that I don't forget it when I'm running out the door. This may be specific to my preferences, and I can still do it, it's just harder than I wish it was.

I used to cycle to work every day (40 mins round trip) and this is the only front/rear light that only requires a monthly or so charge. I love that it will show you battery status when you turn it on with a green, yellow, or red light. You can also make different combinations of front and back flashing and solid lights in all combinations. I brought it on a weeklong bike tour and it went strong the whole time- using it about 8 hours a day with no charges. Great for added visibility when dark as well, and the best thing yet is that I haven’t bought a pricey rear light since! Definitely worth your money and I will be getting another one when this one goes.

Got these lights for my terra trike several weeks ago, and the first set I put on only lasted a day, even though they were charging the entire night before. I'm recovering from a stroke so I thought it might be "user error," but my biking buddies are experienced in these matters, and they suggested I contact Amazon and return them. Again, because of my stroke that is easier said than done. It's a challenge just to type this review. I was hoping to get lights that would last longer.

The build quality is clear and compared to other lights I’ve had, it is so much better. It was really easy to fit to my helmet and isn’t too big or heavy and I hardly notice it when I use it. The different functions are all handy depending on your riding. Being able to turn off one end or the other or using both red and white together is clever. I use it on the red/white/red/white mode that seems to last for ever and the memory function stops me from pressing the button loads of times. The front light is just about bright enough to see where I’m going but I use it to keep me seen on the road. I have a big heavy light for lighting up dark roads but wouldn’t like that on me helmet! The switch is easy to use and has a little click so I know it’s on. It also has a battery power light inside the switch so I know when to charge it. All told it’s really great and I’m pleased I bought it. The traffic is so busy now and I feel much safer wearing the light. Thanks !

Mounting was simple, multiple light modes is useful, its compact & powerful, good quality build, and easy to remove for security reasons
