An outstanding light with excellent customer service
I am using this light on my commute from Bainbridge Island to Seattle. I have received compliments for its visibility in broad daylight. The light is meant to be seen, not to provide illumination. It is easy to mount and has a very intuitive interface with many lighting options. A cool feature is that it remembers last option used. Only trouble I have had is with charging it (which it needs very infrequently). After only a few charges, the receptacle in the light for the USB charger in the light became dislodged and I could no longer charge the light - this may have been operator error (perhaps not being gentle enough inserting the charger into the light). Even though it was months past my purchase, and past the return date, I was impressed that I was sent a new light all the way from England, from the engineer himself! That's customer service! I recommend this light very highly - just be gentle charging it.

Great helmet light
I purchased this item to put on my helmet so I could see at night while cycling. I can see 6ft around me easily with no issues. The light is bright and very light weight. It’s small, easy to install and I’m pleased with the quality. The light appears to be well made and I’m happy there is a white light on the front and a red light behind. Drivers can see me from miles away.

Good but watch out for tree branches
Overall I like it. It's pretty bright and easy to use, and I like having a single light for front and rear instead of having to mess with two. That said, if you wear it on top of your helmet, do watch out for low hanging tree branches. With this thing on top, what would previously have been a harmless glancing blow off the helmet will now yank your head back..

Good additional visibility
Good, small combo headlight/ taillight. I use this every day to commute home in the winter months for added visibility. The headlight beam is spread wide which is good for visibility but is too dim to be a useful headlight. I would recommend to use this in addition to a brighter handlebar headlight. It is also nice to have some light in the direction that you are looking if you turn your head to the side.

Great customer service
I mistakenly thought my light would not charge. It turns out that my light worked fine but I was using the wrong lead. It even said in the manual or the instructions that you must use their lead. Well, when I contacted customer support they were very understanding and even offered to replace the unit. I found the lead that came with the unit and the problem was resolved. I highly recommend the light as it is very lightweight and does a good job of proving enough light so see how to access your water bottles or to look at your bike computer numbers even when it is dark. The light description clearly states it is a safety light. It is not made for use as the sole light for riding. You should have a primary light for seeing the road/trail and this light will be the "back up" light for safety and convenience. I realize you can get something cheaper but you know the phrase. You get what you pay for. This light is worth the money. Buy it.

Alright light, mount not winter ready
Bike commute to work 14 miles each way covering several thousand miles a year. Picked this light up to be more visible to drivers. Used it several times during the summer with the strobe during the day. During the winter it is dark when I begin my ride and dark when I start my ride home. For that I use the steady-on setting. My first ride below freezing the mount cracked. The light held on, but the mount broke completely when I tried to remove the light. The design is such you must remove the light in order to charge it. I tried to super glue the mount but that didn't work at all. I replaced mount with a metal bracket used to hold electrical conduit. That is functional. The light isn't very bright so a head light on the handle bars is still needed at night. It is nice to be able to look in a direction and know the strobe is also pointed in that direction. My rides are typical under two and a half hours and the battery has been able to do that. We'll see how it does in a year's time. Pictured is my winter helmet with the plastic bracket before it broke, the broken bracket, and the replacement metal bracket. For the replacement, I used the remains of the plastic bracket. I cut off the remaining side and drilled a hole in the middle. That allowed me to put in a small screw and nut to hold the metal bracket. The bracket is a #0 electrical conduit holder, although a #1 would probably have been a better size.

Fulfills a specific need.
My Niterider MiNewt Mini purchased in 2010 is finally on its last leg, no longer able to give light after a few minutes on a fully charged battery. I wanted to go with a "be seen" light, since I ride only during the day. And since I wear a full face helmet, I wanted now something on the opposite end of the weight scale. Like flyweight category. This well built device, with its no-frills mount is perfect. I positioned it a little towards the back, so when I'm in my riding position with my helmet tilted down, the light will be parallel with the ground. And I used the mount that has its attachment points transversely to the light. It is positioned just left of center, which is good, since I ride on the right here in the states, and would want the bulk of the light on the street side and not the sidewalk side. This device really fits my niche in terms of "be seen" light output, light weight, and smallish form factor. An excellent choice, if I say so myself.

Excellent light... until it breaks after 9 months
Overall, this is a bright light with decent battery life (not up to par with the price, though) and a versatile mounting system that just doesn't hold up to the elements. THUMBS UP: - front and rear lights for visibility, especially while city biking at night - different blinking or non-blinking settings - switch light that helps to alert when charge is needed THUMBS DOWN: - Charge is quickly drained in cold weather, and battery wears out fairly quickly. - Not actually durable in all weather as advertised! After about 9 months of use in New England where it rains fairly frequently, *both* lights I bought malfunctioned, refusing to turn on when unplugged, and refusing to turn off during and after charging, which meant the batteries quickly drained and the lights were unusable. The charging port isn't very well protected from the elements (just with a rubber cover that easily comes unattached) which may be part of the problem. For a light that advertises itself as being all-weather-durable, this is a problem! Mounting note: It will only be centered on your helmet if your helmet has a ridge (not a space) in the middle. Might be a good buy for a dry and warmer climate with shorter commutes, but for cold and rain with longer commutes this is a no-go for me.

Superb light!
The build quality is clear and compared to other lights I’ve had, it is so much better. It was really easy to fit to my helmet and isn’t too big or heavy and I hardly notice it when I use it. The different functions are all handy depending on your riding. Being able to turn off one end or the other or using both red and white together is clever. I use it on the red/white/red/white mode that seems to last for ever and the memory function stops me from pressing the button loads of times. The front light is just about bright enough to see where I’m going but I use it to keep me seen on the road. I have a big heavy light for lighting up dark roads but wouldn’t like that on me helmet! The switch is easy to use and has a little click so I know it’s on. It also has a battery power light inside the switch so I know when to charge it. All told it’s really great and I’m pleased I bought it. The traffic is so busy now and I feel much safer wearing the light. Thanks !

Funciona muy bien
Quizás una de las mejores compras que he echo últimamente por aquí. Ilumina muy bien, la batería es duradera y tiene muchos modos fijos e intermitentes distintos. Muy fácil de montar.
