Great toy for hamster owner!
Our hamster "Milky", tried the new bus, got in and out of it pretty easily through the little back door. Love that it pops open with a push-button sign (you don't even know there's a button at first!) The back opens up and could connect to our cage with the tube. It comes apart top can disconnect so you can clean it easier. My daughter absolutely loves this bus. It has a little "steering wheel" which doesn't move but is great as a cup up front that you can put little treats in so the hamster will want to get in the bus. The wheels roll well and it can be picked up with the handle. Super cute, I would say it is great for fun play, short travel if you had to take it somewhere but definitely not a long term travel option as there's really not a lot of room to do much other than stand and walk around in a circle in the bus. Great addition to a cage with your own connector tube for an additional spot to camp out in.

This was so cute
Not only is this cute it was easy to put together and very good price I got a discount on it because it was on sale it is made of very sturdy plastic which has a little button which makes it very easy to open the little door it has a handle on the top so you can carry it around with you my only trouble is you have to have the other tunnel systems in order to attach it to anything

Versatile and Great for Orphaned Mice!
We bought this for a deermouse (home was distriburbed and Mama mouse never returned ☹️). He was probably 4-5 days old and we raised from a pinkie (use a tiny paintbrush as a way to feed rodent neonates to help keep them from aspirating. It's a life saver!) I bought this, originally, because we had to travel while caring for him. This was the perfect size for him (and I think would be a good size for several pinkies if you need to travel. We would line the steering wheel with Puffs Plus and he'd snuggle up in it. It was a perfect fit for him! We always carried it with one hand supporting under it. I never fully trusted the latch that holds the bus to the "chassis" as a carrier. Mr. Vandermouse, now fully grown, is practically the size of your thumb and lives in a 20 gallon long aquarium with deep, deep Kaytee Clean and Cozy paper bedding and he loves to tunnel in it, so trying to find a water delivery method was challenging. Ya can't use a bowl because he loves to "swim" through his bedding like a graboid from Tremors, breaching like a dolphin and overturning food and water bowls along the way. Ya can't do the whole water bottle hanging from the side because the lid wouldn't fit securely. Besides, the water droplets would probably drown him. We found that the little bus that he once traveled through 5 states in as a bebeh could now be used as a place for his food and water by taking the end hole plug out! It has a tiny water bottle but we've never seen him drink from it. Instead, the steering wheel that was once his bassinet now holds water and he prefers that. Turns out, the perfect nursery for a tiny mouse makes a perfect "dining car"! The entire bus sits in the corner of the aquarium and water doesn't get knocked over and food (but for the berries he insists on dragging out, lol) stays in an easy to pull out daily to clean and feed. We made a stash of precut liners from paper towels and it makes daily food truck cleaning SOOO easy! He's got plenty of enrichment and hidey places but where does he prefer to bed down when he sleeps? Yep, under his dining car that he grew up in. I like to believe that he remembers his former cozy nursery and it makes him feel safe. Oh yeah, I bought a second one just in case I ever drop and break it.

my mice love it and so do i.
this is great for when i have to clean their cage. they love this bus so much i attached it to their cage. they look pretty darn cute in it too. the bus comes apart so it is easy to clean. the food bowl is not really big enough for food, so i put treats in it. be careful with the handle. it can not support the weight of the bus and falls off. you don't need your little friends escaping.

not horrible, but water bottle design is confusing
i bought this for my gerbils as it is a running joke in my family that they know how to drive, and need a car to drive in, and also for a travel carrier. this should not be a permanent cage, or an add on to a permanent cage, unless their cage is at least 450sq inches of UNBROKEN floor space for hamsters and gerbils. my gerbils don’t seem to mind it for a short period of time, but if they’re in there for longer than 20 minutes or so, they start showing signs of stress. the design of the water bottle is so confusing. first of all, if a hamster, gerbil, or mouse wanted to drink out of it, they would have to turn their neck at a very odd and uncomfortable angle to get to it, which could lead to spinal damage. second of all, it’s all just 1 piece of plastic. nothing comes off, there’s nowhere for the water to enter the bottle. and lastly, the bottle doesn’t have a ball or anything inside of it to stop it from constantly dripping, which is a problem as it will soak all of the bedding and eventually soak your small pet. overall, this is an okay travel cage.

A must-have for my class hamster!
This is absolutely ADORABLE! I’m so glad I received the yellow school bus (I was worried it would be red). I have a beloved class pet dwarf hamster who comes home with me on the weekends. Happy hamster loves her bus and so does the whole school when I carry her across campus each Monday morning 🤣. I have a big cage that stays in my classroom and a smaller KAYTEE cage that stays at my house and connects to the bus with tunnels. Happy loves it so much she even prefers to sleep in her school bus. Only $15.00 for the cutest hamster accessory ever.. get it!!

Hamster foot nearly ripped off
My dwarf hamster’s foot got stuck in the slits around the blue circle opening. I placed her in while I cleaned her big cage and when we checked on her, she had her foot stuck in the slit (cover was on correctly) and nearly ripped it off. We had to get tools to break the side and release her foot as the hamster was panicked and pulling trying to free her foot. The hamsters foot may be broken, I’ll find out tomorrow. Please use caution. Arrows in my pics pointing to the slits visible with cover on.

I ordered this product for my hamster Nibbles (for travel purposes. I thought it looked very cute and the price was only £4.99 (less p+p. To be honest i did not expect the product to be as brilliant as it is, having read other reviews, i assumed there would be faults....But there are not =D The cage is a good size and very easy to handle. It is secure and i have found no trouble with the water bottle (like previous people have commented) - it is secure and does not leak. The bus came in yellow which i was very happy with, it was in excellent condition and was dispatched and delivered incredibly quickly (within a matter of days). My hamster Nibbles is a very very big hamster and even with her size she fitted in the travel bus with more room to spare than i expected. All in all i am delighted with this product, i would suggest to anyone with mice, dwarf hamsters and/or Syrian hamsters, to buy this product for their animal. It is awesome!!! It is fun and safe for the animal and very entertaining for the owner, plus the wheels on the bus actually do go round!!! =D Thanks so much for this awesome product, safe, efficient, fun and extremely well priced :) xxx
