Works great – actually extends ball life and saves money
I’ve been using this Ball Rescuer with a Wilson US Open can, and it works exactly as advertised. The balls hold their pressure much longer, and I’m able to use them for multiple sessions instead of tossing them after a couple of hits. As long as the felt is still in good shape, the balls feel playable and consistent. Setup is simple, and I use a small electric pump to pressurize it, which makes the process quick and easy. Once it’s pressurized, it does its job. This has definitely helped cut down how often I need to buy new balls, so it’s saving money over time. If you play regularly and go through balls quickly, this is a smart, practical addition to your gear.

Great Product / Elite Customer Service
First and foremost, the Ball Rescuer does really work. It can preserve the liveliness of new balls between uses, and it can re-pressurize slightly dead balls as well. The design is superior to other similar products because the air pump valve allows you to really dial-in the pressure according to your needs (think ball preservation vs reconditioning). Second, the customer service is great. The guys are quick to respond if any issues or questions arise. They went above and beyond to take care of my minor issue. I have owned mine for a little over a month and it has already almost paid for itself. Would recommend (and do often).

Works but finicky
Overall, I’m happy with it and it does work much better than the Gexco and Tourna twist style ball savers. Using a bike pump gives you a lot of control over the amount of pressure. Couple of tips: 1. It is VERY finicky about the can because it relies on having a regular Penn Championship can with a perfect metal rim. You may need to try many cans before you find one that holds pressure. Dents and cans that are out of round will cause leaks. 2. You can use this to repressurize completely dead balls but if you use too much pressure and the ball collapses it will never gain pressure. You have to take your time and pressurize until just before it collapses and leave it there for a week. Then add a little pressure and leave it there for a week etc.

Functional product with great service
Worked great until it started leaking from the valve. I messaged support and they shipped an upgraded replacement within the week

Stopped working after 2 months
Worked great for the first 2 months, then started leaking. I tried the manufacturer's suggested fixes, but nothing worked. Now it loses all air in just a few hours. Since I'm past the return window, I’m stuck with a useless product. Save your money and skip this one.

Sleeve diameter for compatability
Okay this is for those wondering what the relaxed diameter of the unit is. Couldn'tget an answer frombthe manufacturer. I wanted to know what the actual diameter of the unit to see if other cans in my possession would fit....see the pictures. I measured the bottom sleeve, furthest from the screw down pressurizing cap and the the top where the gasket makes contact with the metal rim on the tennis ball can. Note the bottom is approximately 75mm and at the top it's 74mm. These dimensions are relaxed without stretching the sleeve. Good luck to all hopefully this helps a few. So now you can check your existing stock of used cans! Had to repurchase, apparently I got a used/returned one?. Looking forward to actually putting it to use. Well made and designed product. I will follow-up with review once a replacement is recieved, but looks promising based on concept and design.

Great item to keep balls fresh and even maybe restore some old ones!
So admittedly the first unit I got for some reason did not hold pressure and I ended up doing an exchange - but the seller reached out and asked several questions that I believe was genuinely trying to understand how the product may have failed which I really appreciated (kudos to the team!). On the unit itself - it is very easy to use (make sure you use the right Penn canister) - and understand that this will not resurrect completely dead balls from the grave - but definitely keeps newer ones fresher and even may revive some slightly used ones to a better condition. What I like about this unit is that it has a color pressure gauge so at least you have an idea of what the inside pressure is. Some of the harder plastic ball pressurizers leave you guessing as to the internal pressure so that is cool. Overall, I really like the extender, and I will be using this every time I open a fresh can of balls to keep them going longer!

Not all ball containers are compatible.
The ad says compatible with Penn. in the current market tennis balls are hard to come by and penn seems to be the most commonly available on amazon I have tried this with Penn Tour and Penn championship neither work because the metal ring at the top is too large so the plastic ring will not seal around it. I suspect the product works fine if you have the right container but this is 2 stars because it said compatible with Penn but is not. Manufacturer should list known specific ball types or provide a compatible aftermarket can.

Sencillo y eficaz

5/5 Sterne
