Solid choice for this type of gadget
I needed to throw an HDMI signal (standard 1080p 60Hz) across the house. I also wanted to be able to monitor the image locally at the source, so that I wouldn't have to walk across the house to check on the image and sound. Enter this set of gadgets. I've used Orei products before (their HDMI splitters are REALLY nice and rock-solid) so I chose this product with some confidence. I was not disappointed. These worked exactly as described, throwing the signal cleanly to the destination. The local HDMI loop out worked just fine. The RF Blaster transmitter and receiver units worked very well too, which made remote control of the source very simple. In all, everything worked precisely as it should and held up solidly for a session that lasted MANY hours (probably about 5 or 6 hours of continuous operation). These Orei boxes barely got warm. I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of this product, and the price is mind-boggling cheap. Notes: Cat-5e and Cat-6 cables are slightly different internally. You will get longer range from a Cat-6 cable than a Cat-5e cable. Unless you're using existing Cat-5e for whatever reason, I'd recommend procuring a well-made Cat-6 cable to go with this Orei product. You'll get the maximum transmission range with Cat-6 cable. According to the manual that came with this product, Cat-5e range for 1080p 60Hz signal is 197ft maximum and Cat-6 range for 1080p 60 Hz signal is 230ft. The ranges for a 4K 30Hz signal are 115ft for Cat-5e and 131ft for Cat-6. An odd quirk: the local HDMI loop out didn't work for me until I plugged in the receiver at the other end of the Cat-6 cable I used. It seems you HAVE to connect the transmitter and receiver together in order to see anything on the HDMI loop out. Not a problem at all, but kind of odd. Just needs to be kept in mind when setting up. Finally, this product is powered from the transmitter end only. You do not need to power the receiver (in fact the receiver doesn't even have a power port). This is nice - some products of this type require power on both ends but this one does not. Makes for simpler installation/deployment.

Works Perfectly
It's not the cheapest HDMI extender but it's probably the nicest. Its actually four products rolled into one. The HDMI extender. A HDMI splitter. An infrared remote extender. And a HDMI audio breakout. You need most of these to hook two TVs to the same cable box and the fact that they are integrated saves a lot of wiring and clutter. Combining the HDMI extender and the infrared remote extender means you only have to string one wire between the TVs instead of two. The advantage of going to CAT 6 instead of HDMI is that CAT 6 is cheaper, it can carry the signal further and you can install the connectors your self. You can't install HDMI connectors on cables so to extend with HDMI you have to buy a HDMI cable that is the correct length and you have to drill holes through walls that are big enough for the HDMI connectors. So you would need 0.75" holes for HDMI vs 0.2" holes for CAT 6. I actually used some unshielded CAT 5E because I had some lying around. (CAT 5 is not recommended because its lower bandwidth compared to CAT 6 or CAT 7 which are recommended.) My run was 80 feet and it works just fine at 720p resolution. However, it might not work at higher resolution and if I were doing over again I would go out and buy some CAT 6. Stringing cable is a lot of work so its better to do it right the firsts time.

OREI top video matrix splitter
OREI is an amazing solution for syncing my big screens in my entertainment room. Easy to install and works extremely well. Amazon shipping was overnight and installation took about 15 minutes after I strung the CAT6 cable.

Passed with flying colors
We purchased these for our church, to project a feed of an organist giving a recital. The organ console is up in the organ loft, and we wanted a projector down front in the church. These units worked flawlessly with 200โ of cat7 cabling, and there was no noticeable lag. Iโm sure there was a millisecond or two, but tbh, it was essentially instantaneous, and whatever lag there was could have been a result of the older camera that we borrowed (or the projector) to produce the feed. As best I can tell, these units themselves are essentially perfect. They units were rock solid in concert, and Iโm thrilled with the purchase. So with decent cabling, I can confirm these units work at LEAST 200โ.

Well built, easy to use, and fast transmission at a reasonable price.
I found the build quality of the device to be impressive. The size is in line with what would be expected given the number of cables you plug into it. The markings and instruction booklet made it very easy to set up and use. This device worked great on every device I tried, except the one I bought it for. I have a 65" TV at work that I use as an extra monitor. To get from my docking station to the TV is about 40', so I bought this device, a CAT8 Ethernet cable, and two 13" HDMI cables. My TV recognized that something was connected, but couldn't establish a signal. I tried transmitting from a different laptop and then with my iPhone - still nothing. I unplugged it from my office TV and plugged it into my 65" TV at home and then into a standard computer monitor and everything worked great, with no lag!! I contacted OREI support and they were very responsive working with me to find out what the issue was with the office TV. Unfortunately, I needed a solution ASAP, so I ended up returning the device.

Works flawlesly
I purchased this to run an HDMI signal through conduit that was too small to run an HDMI cable. Picture quality is great, no problems so far.

Try a different product
Just doesn't work. Orei support is unhelpful. I called support to see if there was an issue with my configuration. They told me they would forward my case to the next tier of support. They never called me back and the product still doesn't work. They do not even publish the latest firmware on their website for me to attempt a firmware update. Poor form Orei. My configuration is a ~30ft cat 6 cable through a wall and above a drop ceiling to a projector. Nothing near the limits advertised. Thinking the issue may be with signal interference on the cat 6 cable, I grabbed a known good 2ft cat 6 cable from our patch panel as test cable and this thing still won't transmit the video signal to a test display. All my HDMI cables work fine without the Orei equipment in between so I know the issue is with their equipment.

As advertised
This is the 3rd HDMI over Ethernet extender brand Iโve tried, and itโs the first one that has worked as advertised. Iโm really happy with it and Iโm thinking of buying an additional one to support a 2nd system.

150 meter - 492ft single cable run!!!!! works flawlessly
So i went down quite a journey on a journey whilst trying to do a job which to be fair was not very well foreward planned. Purchased a number of different solutions to get a CCTV NVR situated in a farmhouse to have a remote monitor viewable in a workshop. Line of site is approximatley 80 meters however when managing to run a new cable we discovered that the conduit was actually 150 meters. after purchasing other units including some from this same manufacturer i had low expectations for this working as once we discovered the true cable run length we knew we where well over the normal 100m limit. however upon pluggin in.....it.....just....worked. exactly 150 meter end to end cable run, using full copper shielded cat6 cable.

Works perfectly.
I have a 50m CAT 6 cable over which i need to run a 4K30 feed over HDMI. I previously ordered the OREI EX230C, an analog balun extender but it failed miserably for the same task. This is a HDBaseT3.0 extender, which allows it to pass 4:4:4 4K60Hz signals reliably. Highly recommended for it price for a reliable, fuss free HDMI extension.
