I got these to help build finger strength, and mounted three of them in the basement on floor joists. The directions are not very good--they tell you to drill a hole that is too large, so maybe consider not doing that. The bolts seemed to be surprisingly soft metal. I stripped one of the heads when I was installing, so now it's a permanent feature of the house. Installing is a little difficult because the holes in the grips are a little deeper than my my allen wrench. The grips themselves are nice and seem like they'll hold up pretty well. If they came with higher quality mounting hardware, I would have gone to 5-stars.

Getting these to work took a lot of time and frustration. The screws were terrible! My husband ended up making several trips to the hardware store to find ones that weren't going to bend and would screw in right. Now that they are up they are wonderful. Be aware they might cost you more than the amazon price.

I bought 5 packages of these to put on my newly built Treehouse I completed a couple weeks ago. So far the grips have withstood my 220lbs and my kids climbing all over them for a few weeks now. They are made strong and look pretty good. I highly recommend these to anyone needing to put these outdoors.

Great. Would have given a five star but the back grommets are hammer in style that are very hard to start.
