I bought this bowl to use as a dedicated water bowl for my large orange tabby cat, and I’m very happy with it. The stainless steel is sturdy, easy to clean, and holds plenty of fresh water. I also like the removable rubber ring on the bottom because it helps keep the bowl from sliding around and reduces noise. The medium size (3.17 cups / 750 mL) is perfect for keeping enough water available, especially during the summer heat. I paired it with a separate ceramic bowl for food, and it makes a great feeding setup. The bowl arrived quickly, was well packaged, and the quality exceeded my expectations for the price. It looks nice, feels durable, and is an excellent value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality water bowl for a cat or small dog.

Love these bowls. Stainless interior is safer than plastic which leaches plastic particles into dog's food. The removable rubber section on the bottom of bowl keeps bowl from moving. Removing rubber makes bowl dishwasher safe. Nice size. Cute design on sturdy bowl exterior. Great value. I would purchase again if needed. I recommend!!

They are a good size for our Standard Poodles, lightweight, and I love the colors. Simple pleasures in life!

As a volunteer foster for a local cat rescue, I have random cats in my house. That means a lot of bowls, a lot of cleaning bowls, and a lot of stacking bowls. What I needed was something that any cat could use and be happy about, that was also easy for me to clean and non-allergenic for cats that might not be able to tolerate plastic. These bowls are all that and a box of crackers. Lots of people don't know that a good percentage of cats have whisker sensitivity. Because whiskers tell a cat when something is too close or too narrow, having whiskers hitting the edge of a bowl can be seriously off-putting to some. So, they'll do stuff like tip over their bowl and eat kibble off the floor, or pat at their water, flinging it everywhere, and then licking it off their paws. The medium is the perfect size to avoid whisker sensitivity. It holds a good amount of water or kibble, and there's no whisker touching for most cats. It's also low and stable, so clumsy cats just learning the ropes of indoor life won't tip it over by not paying attention. The rubber ring on the bottom gets an excellent grip on pretty much any surface too. Cleaning is a breeze because of the stainless steel inside, and the removable rubber ring on the bottom means you can toss it in the dishwasher. I wash mine by hand, but taking that rubber ring out for a good sanitizing means I can be confident that no germs are lingering in cracks somewhere. I have over 20 of these bowls, so that should be testimony enough that I really like them. I use them for all my fosters and they seem to love them too. Or, maybe it's just the regular meals they like. Who can know? They're cats.

Nice dog bowls they stay very clean. They're not deep enough for water. Great for a medium-sized dog food

***Updates are located at bottom of review.*** ***Original Review*** I recently discovered that stainless steel bowls are some of the better bowls for pets since they resist bacteria, unlike plastic bowls. I had been using plastic bowls for a number of years for our cat but as soon as I heard this, I immediately began searching for some good, but inexpensive stainless steel bowls. There are a number of choices and brands available on Amazon but this is one that got good reviews, was fairly inexpensive, and has a cool design on it so I ordered this one, along with the same bowl in the Valentine red heart design. As soon as they arrived, I washed them up and began using them, along with tossing the old, plastic bowls in the garbage. The bowls seem to be well-constructed and made of good-quality material. I ordered the small size bowls and they are approximately 5 1/2" in diameter and are almost 2" high. They actually hold quite a bit of water and I've noticed that my cat drinks more water now than she did with her old bowls! I use a pet feeder for her food so I've only used these bowls for water and canned cat food but so far, I'm very pleased. They also wash up nicely. The bottom has a removable rubber ring so you can throw it in the dishwasher but I prefer to handwash them and I've had absolutely no problems. The design looks as good as new and I liked these bowls so much that I also ordered the same bowl in the argyle pink design so now I have three of these bowls! The rubber rings on the bottom prevent the bowls from sliding across the floor and so far, they have worked well for us. One thing some reviewers mentioned is they had problems removing the sticker that comes on the inside of the bowl. In all three of the bowls I received, I didn't have that problem and it seemed as though the edges of the stickers aren't pressed down a lot so, as long as I carefully pulled up the sticker, it all came off the bowl with no sticker residue left. Hopefully other people have the same luck that I did with these. Overall, I am very happy that I found these bowls because they are much safer for our cat, they are very affordable, come in pretty designs, and wash up nicely! As long as they continue to work well for us, I will buy more of these as needed and I definitely recommend these bowls to anyone with cats or small dogs. It's nice that they come in different sizes for all different sized animals! ***Update 07/22/2016 - We've now been using these bowls for our cat for about six months and they still work great. We recently purchased a fourth bowl since it's nice to have several handy. They are very easy to clean too. We have hard water and every so often we get a bit of buildup (we handwash these bowls to maintain the designs). I just take the bottom ring off, put it in the dishwasher when this happens and the bowls come out almost as good as new! The designs haven't faded off at all by cleaning them this way. I still recommend these bowl because they are very affordable, easy to clean, and come in a variety of designs!

These little bowls are perfect. Look very smart, reasonably priced but most importantly are very easy to keep clean and hygienic. Bought 2 in the small size for my Shih Tzu puppy (one each for food and water), have been using now for about 5 weeks and still look brand new with no scuffs or peeling etc. The non slip base is great, no spillages despite the food bowl being vigorously pounced on 3 times a day : ) Highly recommended, will continue to buy these as and when next sizes are required.
